    A brilliant 4 day break here with helpful friendly staff and great food - it’s a family hotel with lots of kids activities. Don’t miss out on the Spa treatments we had the Sports Massage and it was excellent

    Recently visited the Playa Mar as a large family — myself, my partner, our two boys aged 3 & 4, plus some extended family, occupying 3 rooms in total.Rooms: Super spacious. A separate bedroom, then a second double bed plus a sofa. I loved the fact we didn’t have to open and reset the sofa every night, which is something I’ve experienced in other hotel family rooms. Everything was clean and well presented. Our family room had a slight problem with ants which was a little annoying (however, I’m aware I do have young children who seem to leave a trail of tiny crumbs everywhere they go!). The other two rooms in our party didn’t have this issue.Pools were great, offering something for every age. Visiting in mid May, we noticed the pools were colder than expected. Our other two visits to Mallorca have been June onwards, and it really shows in the temperature of the outdoor pools. My kiddies were reluctant to get in for the first few days, which is unlike them.Food was fabulous, with themes changing daily which offered a good variety. We didn’t have any issues finding something to suit everyone’s tastebuds.Staff were always attentive, fun and welcoming. Bar staff were super friendly, remembering orders and showing lots of attention to the children. Kids’ entertainment was everything we expected — the boys really enjoyed the songs and energy from the staff. Coco was a hit!The location of this hotel is what really sells it. A beautiful walk along Pine Walk, taking around 20 minutes, gets you to the centre, shops, bars, market, harbour etc.Overall, a great stay and I would definitely recommend it for families looking for a child-friendly place within walking distance to beaches and amenities. Pollenca is one of the most beautiful spots and I’d highly recommend a visit to this area if you haven’t been already.     A magical haven for a family with so much to do both inside the complex and outside in Polenca

    Playa Mar and Spa is a perfect destination for a family with young children with so much to do both within the hotel and outside in Polenca. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the team work very hard each day to maintain this level. The entertainment team, headed by Paul, Andrea, Sami and Steffen are excellent and really put their hearts and souls into the disco and other events. Our children loved these events.The food is a real bonus here with plenty of choice for both adults and children as well as themes on most nights that were really well presented. Freddie and Angela run a tight and well organised ship and the experience is first class.The pools are good for both adults and children and again, spotless each day.Surrounding the hotel is the glorious pine walk which leads to the port town with lovely sandy beaches and sea that is warm and easy to swim or paddleboard in. Check out Multi Hire for paddleboard and Prom Am for road bike hire if you like these kinds of things.
