    Enjoyed the spa!

    rating05 Oct 2025

We had a lovely 5 night stay. The spa was the standout for me, most days I had it to myself! Very relaxing space with a cool pool which you could sort of swim in-it was quite large for a spa pool. The outdoor pool was a little smaller than hoped for (a bit awkward if more than two people swimming at once) and beds were in short supply a couple of times. We made good use of the pool table too-which is free.Breakfast was self service-good selection and you could order eggs/bacon if you wished. The food in the evening was ok, a little overpriced perhaps. The sangria was excellent though! The only disappointing thing was the room. The reception was well-decorated and a very nice space, but this contrasted with the room which was very sterile-a bit office-like. Great view from the balcony though (I'd say the extra for this is worth it) and comfortable bed. The rooms were quiet-no noise from other guests. We got the bus there and back from Palma, about 3 euro, just tap your card (we have Euro bank cards).

    Perfect trip! ⭐️

My husband and I are just home from another amazing stay at this hotel. We find this hotel to be very peaceful and relaxing, which is why we keep coming back!We stayed in the penthouse suite this time and we will definitely book this again. The room was very spacious and had a private terrace with a beautiful sea view. Perfect for watching the sunset. Our room was spotlessly clean and everything was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and was included within our room rate. Lots of choices and everything was fresh. We didn’t have an evening meal at the hotel this time; however the menu looked good!We hired a car, which allowed us to get out to explore the local area. We were able to park fine each night; however, some evenings we had to park a bit further away from the hotel. This wasn’t an issue for us, but something to consider if you, or someone you are travelling with, has a mobility issue. There is also a bus stop outside the hotel with a regular service if you don’t want to hire a car. Finally, staff were very friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Stayed for a week in June.Very nice small hotel, very clean and all the staff friendly and professional.Nice room, with fantastic views.Nice pool area, very chilled. We ate numerous times in the hotels own restaurant, nice meals varied menu. Our room housekeeping was excellent. As already mentioned all the staff friendly, but must mention in particular in the bar/restaurant, Toño, Teresa and Margalida. The village of Estellencs is picturesque and laid back.Would like to stay again.

    Superb

We decided at the last minute to have a night away from home. The first hotels we rang said that they only took bookings online. However The Maristel actually had a real person who accepted our booking and when I explained that it was my wife's birthday said to leave it to her.We arrived about two hours later to be told that we had been upgraded to a very nice room. Having booked demi-pension we went down to Dinner a little late. The hotel is a favourite for hikers and cyclists so we were the last in to dine. The starter of prawns grilled in Maldon Salt was delicious (I felt that as we have some of the best sea salt in Europe Flor del Sal Es Trencada they should have used local). I followed with Lubina fillet perfectly grilled and my wife had local lamb leg fillet also perfectly grilled. The dessert was historic and the cheese platter amazing. All the wine was Pere Seda. Breakfast was as good as it gets.

October sunshine in the Tramontana mountains.

    rating11 Oct 2024

Lovely views to the sea from our balcony. Beautiful area with tree covered mountains and glorious walks. Lots of younger fit people cycling and trekking etc, I think at 80 years old we did find the hills quite steep. We caught the local bus several times to various towns which we enjoyed. Very obliging hotel staff who were most helpful. Mostly ate out at excellent local restaurants as we were B & B. Hotel dinner rather limited.Lovely pool and patios to enjoy the sun.
