    A great resort hotel for young families and grandparents off the main hub .

    Am sitting on shaded Sunbeds by the beautiful pool in the well kept gardens and a great female singer is going through , a lovely repertoire of light jazz songs. It’s mid afternoon after an excellent light lunch . There are children in the pool overlooked by a lifeguard . There are grandparents and parents here and all seem to be enjoying themselves . A good family and couples location .It’s 13 minutes stroll to one of the lovely beach coves . There’s another beach closer but it gets more crowded in the afternoon. The staff at this hotel are welcoming, professional, friendly and very accommodating. The food is excellent. We are a short 5 min walk from the main hub of Cala d’or which we have strolled through in the evenings. Overall it’s a great location.     Wonderful Hotel

    The Meliá Cala d'Or Boutique Hotel is set within a beautiful, mature garden and is made up of several room blocks, which gives it a peaceful, spacious feel. The pool area is well designed, with sunbeds under canopies that can be adjusted to provide shade when needed.Our room was excellent, featuring a very large double bed, and a mattress topper was available on request for extra comfort. There was also a lounge area and a large balcony furnished with a table and four chairs, which was perfect for relaxing. Additionally, there are sunbeds dotted around the gardens, offering quieter alternatives if you prefer not to stay by the pool.The indoor pool area was wonderful for those rainy spring days. I’d particularly like to thank the staff, who were excellent throughout our stay.They were well trained, courteous, and thoughtful. A special mention goes to Stephanie, who was especially welcoming and helpful.     This hotel has it all under one roof . The staff at the front desk are so helpful, they really do care about you. They are so warm and welcoming. Nothing is to much trouble. I really was happy to Stephanie again , hopefully correctly named . The room is lovely,felt so luxurious. The jacuzzi bath was an added bonus in the classic suite.The attention to detail in this hotel,is second to none. The indoor swimming pool was great,just the right temperature or you could relax with a book. The sauna and steam room are great after my swim ,along with the gym. The bed was perfect, the little chocolate on the pillow at night, was an extra special touch. The icing on the cake for me was the special note and Cava for my birthday. The singer they had at the pool area was great, she had a great voice. The breakfast was good ,the chef freshly an omelette for me. I complimented the chef on my omelette, well I tried in spanish.My hubby had fried eggs.A great selection of foods. It's a buffet breakfast, with multiple food options. Ie a fry up ,continental, cereal, yogurts,fruits etc. Also gluten free choices. There was two different types of melon. The manager Daniel is a great asset to the hotel, hardworking and a lovely man to speak to. Lovely place right in the heart of cala d or . 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 We throughly enjoyed it.     A lovely 5 star hotel. We have returned to this hotel for the second year because we enjoyed it so much. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are so helpful and attentive, especially the cleaners who work everyday to ensure the rooms and cleaned and fresh towels are provided. It’s a great hotel, with an indoor and outdoor pool, great outdoor bar area with the option of a lunch menu and pool staff also come round during the day to offer you drinks. Would definitely recommend. My only advice would be, this hotel is more catered to couples / adults. Although they accept families, we found there not to be much for children and the sun loungers are sectioned into 2 sun lounger per area so not ideal if travelling with children. The hotel has a very tranquil relaxing vibe, we have no issues with children however can see how quickly they became bored.
