An Excellent choice for the independent traveller.

A lovely hotel, opened in 1869, it has a grace and beauty of antiquity about it. It has clean, modern rooms and is in an ideal location on the main square. We were there out of season for tourists, but not for walkers and cyclists so the town was busy and most things were open. I think parking may be a problem in the season, for us there was no difficulty, but you do have to park in a car park which is about five minutes walk away. All the staff are helpful and efficient, doing anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. We had a wonder fortnight's stay and we will definitely be returning..

    Top location, good price

Just off the main square, nice clean modern rooms. Helpful manager, not too far from parking. Roof terrace with good views. Very quiet when we were there in November, but still a good time for walking.

A Great Stay at the Cal Lloro Hotel

    rating14 Nov 2016

We flew to Palma on 5th November and drove to Pollensa. Parking in Pollensa at this time of year is a breeze with a tarmac car park just three minutes walk away. The hotel has just eight rooms, and our room had a balcony overlooking the square, was very comfortable, a decent size, and had the bonus of a fridge in the room. Breakfast every day was served in the dining room and was of the continental type. Fresh orange juice, tea or coffee, melon, yoghurt, toasted baguette, pastries or croissants, butter, jams, sorrano ham and cheese. Perfectly adequate. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the location was perfect for us to explore the old town, having stayed near the port for many years previously. At this time of year the weather can be a little chilly, but the hotel heating was very efficient. There's a lovely large terrace at the rear of the hotel at 2nd floor level with lots of tables and chairs and four sun loungers, and intermittently the weather was good enough to use that. We highly recommend this place and would certainly return another time.

The pictures don't do it justice

    rating30 Jul 2016

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The pictures really don't do it justice, it is so much nicer. The location was amazing, just right in the centre. In terms of parking, we didn't have a problem, there was a free public car park just about 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were nice and clean, and we had a lovely view over the town centre. The breakfast was nice too, just sometimes it took a bit long to arrive.

Laid back small hotel in centre of town

    rating18 Apr 2016

Room 3 with balcony, table, chairs facing the square is highly recommended. Owner seems to do much himself and seems incredibly laid back ..which is OK. Rooms a generous size. As it was cool in the mornings then breakfast was served in 1st floor dining room and is prepared as you arrive. No choice offered other than tea/coffee but the yoghurt, fruit, ham, cheese was perfectly fine.I think the hotel restaurant is run as a separate business but we didn't eat there. There's a nice terrace on Floor 2 for end of day relaxing if you don't have a room with balcony.Lots of original art in the hotel common areas.
