  Swim up room during hot months but still a beautiful hotel.

  This is a beautiful hotel with lovely staff, very clean, spacious and a great location with a Spar on the doorstep and a short walk to the cars and restaurants. We paid for a swim up room but it was beginning of May and the pool was freezing, so I’d recommend these rooms when the sun is stronger to warm up the water. The buffet breakfast is what you’d expect from a nice hotel , as a vegetarian I was limited to the hot food and there’s only so much scrambled egg and beans a girl can take, so opted for the fruit, cereal and cheese sandwiches. If the owners read this review - please can English sausage and bacon be alternated with the red sausage every few days please? Also, vegetarians don’t just eat grilled vegetables, some quorn or similar brand would have been nice as a choice. But don’t let that put you off because it’s a lovely hotel and my limited breakfast options are a ‘me’ problem and serves me right for being a veggie!   Peaceful, Clean, Luxury…

  Boyfriend and I stayed for 7 nights here in a gorgeous spacious room - true to images we had seen online. Clean, comfortable bed with a great shower space and balcony. The staff were so pleasant with us the whole time - particularly the lovely lady who works in the hotel treatments space and a lady at Reception area - so friendly! Housekeeping also super efficient - bed cleaned/changed etc very quickly. Absolutely phenomenal massage treatments - I went for full body with head massage. It was so relaxing my boyfriend treated me to a second! Highly recommend - well worth the price - especially if it’s a cooler day you can also just chill and take it easy by pool area straight afterwards. Breakfast buffet was fab every morning - lots of choice and great healthy options - good selection of fresh fruit every morning. Coffee lovers also won’t be disappointed as the coffee is very tasty at breakfast. Boyfriend loved his black Americano ☕️ Pleasantly surprised wine was reasonably priced at the hotel bar area also - in keeping with shops/bars we’d been to. Not overprice. We did not get a chance to try the sky bar restaurant but if it’s anything like the food served at bar area and at breakfast you will not be disappointed. Recommend the club sandwich! Pool area outside super clean and not overcrowded - always cabanas and loungers available for us every day. Our first day we just decided to spend by pool as it was so peaceful. Staying here you don’t even feel the need to venture outside! The main central areas area a short walk/taxi away but we enjoyed being out of the way a little bit.   Fantastic stay, spotless hotel and excellent swim-up room

  We had a fantastic stay at Monsuau Hotel in Cala D’or as a couple and would definitely recommend it. The hotel was spotless throughout, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.We stayed in swim-up room 2002, which was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and very well equipped, with toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, a hairdryer, kettle, iron and ironing board. There was also a lovely welcome pack with wine and water, which was a nice touch. Having direct access to the swim-up pool made the stay feel even more special.The pool area was beautiful and well maintained. The main pool was quite cold, but this was only a minor point and didn’t spoil our stay. Pool towels were provided with a €20 deposit per towel, which was returned at the end of the stay.Breakfast was lovely, varied and plentiful, with a huge choice each morning. There was something for everyone and everything was kept well stocked.The location was also great. Cala Ferrera is only around a 5-minute walk away, which was ideal for the beach, and Cala D’or centre is around a 20-minute walk, so it was easy to get out and explore while still staying somewhere peaceful.The only other small issue was the TV signal. There were some English channels available, but the signal was very poor on most of them and the only one that worked properly was Channel 5. That said, we didn’t go on holiday to sit in the room watching TV, so it really wasn’t a big problem.Overall, we had a brilliant stay and would happily return. A spotless hotel, excellent room, friendly staff, lovely breakfast and a great location. Definitely 5 out of 5.
