  I had a wonderful stay at Ola Apartamentos Cala d’Or. The apartments were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The location is excellent – close to beautiful beaches, restaurants, and shops, yet still quiet enough for a peaceful holiday.The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay, always ready to assist with any questions. The pool area was clean and enjoyable, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming.I would definitely recommend Ola Apartamentos Cala d’Or to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Cala d’Or.   Fantastic family stay

  Just back from a truly fantastic 5 days away for my Dad's 80th birthday celebration, staying at Ola APARTAMENTOS in Cala D’Or and loved every second of it. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the apartments were immaculate and the location was fantastic. Genuinely cannot fault anything. Thank you to a member of the team too for his extremely nice gesture for our celebration too.   We stayed at Ola Apartments Cala d'or for one week. Prior to arrival I emailed reception to request a quiet room away from the Tropical garden bar and restaurant.Our wish was kindly granted, we were allocated a one bed apartment in block 4 room no: 4104. After a 2 and a half hour transfer to the resort plus an extra half hour waiting for the coach to leave the airport it was nice to see a friendly face to welcome us. ( thank you Jose ).Block 4 is the last apartment block on the complex and has a really lovely small pool .The apartment was spacious with 3 balconies.One balcony had 2 deck chairs, one had 1 sunbed ( rather odd) the 3rd balcony had a table and 4 chairs.Upon arrival the room was clean and tidy. However that is where the cleaning ends i am afraid.The housekeeping/cleaner comes every 3 days, hence we had no clean towels for 3 days. We checked in Saturday evening and it was Tuesday afternoon before the maid came. She made up the bed (no clean sheets all week), left fresh towels and emptied the bin. There was no sweeping or mopping the floors or balconies. This standard is not good enough in my opinion.Just as well we had been emptying our own bins and sweeping the floors daily. I didn't want to wait another 3 days for clean towels so one evening I went to reception and asked for towels. The lady on the desk kindly gave me some.We did not use the main pool as it got quite busy, we preferred to stay around the smaller pool.There's a villa opposite block 4 and they have 3 or 4 dogs that bark a lot especially in the morning .As other reviews have said the cockerels crow all day and all night and live in the shrubs by the path that runs the whole way across the back of the hotel. There are many stray cats living around the area too. This did not bother us too much but if you are looking for total peace and quiet you wont find it here.We had some lovely meals in the Hollywood restaurant, the staff were lovely. We also ate at the Pirate . If you like a good old 80s music quiz head over to 'Rumours bar' across the road from Hollywood where Mark and Lindsey will give you a warm welcome, serve tasty cocktails for 8 euros each.The Tropical gardens bar prices are ridiculous costing 25 euros for 1 rum & coke + 1 pink gin & lemonade!Overall we had a nice holiday but unfortunately we wouldn't return .   Stayed here with partner for 6 nights. We were able to leave our bags before check in and check in process was simple. Hotel is in a really great location, short walk to beaches, restaurants, bars etc. We had booked an apartment directly on their website and we were allocated room 1103. The apartment didn’t look anything like the photos on the website, it was considerably smaller. Apartments are advertised for up to 2 adults and 2 children however I have no idea where the two children would go, including their bags etc. We didn’t have a wardrobe, instead a rail and some shelving (3 sections were taken up with the safe and bedding). We ended up having to leave some clothing in our bags on the floor due to lack of space. The kitchen area had no actual worktop space, it was a hob and the sink. Kettle and all other appliances were in the cupboards which meant no room for our shopping. The kitchen was well equipped (minus an oven) for basic cooking. Balcony was big enough however overlooked a dirty terrace and the roof of the bar. There was also towels on the roof so not the most inviting view. AC unit from the neighbouring restaurant is also noisy. We didn’t use the main pool but we did go to the pool between blocks 3 and 4. Really liked the pool here and definitely the redeeming factor for the hotel. We would have much preferred to stay further down as it was much quieter than where we were in block one. Apartment is cleaned every 3 days which wasn’t an issue for us as we didn’t spend much time in it. Overall, okay and cheap enough however definitely felt like we wee catfished a bit with the ‘spacious’ apartment.
