  Very bad service, the manager doesn’t take responsibility. We’ve had a fine stay. And we’ve asked for an extra day stay in advance 4 months which was confirmed via email by the reception. But now a day before we leave it is mentioned to us it’s not possible anymore. The manager doesn’t want to speak to us. And only gives the receptionist the instructions to say nothing is possible. We’ve asked if the cleaners could do our appartement last but not a single action. Big negative for us. We’ve been here for the second year but this is a reason to not come back anymore.   Worst Lodging in over 40 years of International Travel

  This property is extremely out of date, dirty, and has so many expected items that are broken (remotes, lamps), useless (small coffee pot), or not working (lights). The entire facility needs serious updates and maintenance immediately. The amount of black mold throughout the property inside and out was extremely disturbing. The apartment had water stains on furniture, old/dirty fabric covers, old and outdated pillows and mattress, broken lamps and inoperable lights, water damage to bathroom doors/trim due to shower heads that are damaged and spray water everywhere, limited kitchen appliances, and the entire apartment smelled due to poor cleaning and maintenance. The pools/hot tub were freezing cold and unusable. The lounge chairs and patio areas had black mold and white stains everywhere, along with missing and broken tiles that presented a real tripping hazard. They also have policies that do not align with industry service standards. They will charge you $150 if you don’t wash the dishes before you leave but they give you only a small one use packet of dish soap and won’t give you more. These apartments also have no dishwasher, so unless you rewash the dishes yourself you have no idea what the previous occupant cleaned them with. The first day of our vacation we had to wash all the dishes after running out to buy dish soap. They also do not change your bed linens even after 5-6 days, instead they throw the new sheets/pillows on the bed and expect you to change them. The property has seriously misrepresented the quality of this resort in the pictures posted on the various booking sites. Our apartment had zero pictures on the walls and no decorations anywhere. Please see our pictures which show the actual reality of the resorts condition. We would NOT recommend this resort to anyone.   Our first time at this resort in Alcúdia and extremely disappointed in the overall experience. The only positive are staff are friendly and welcoming. At check in other than resort map and trying to sell breakfast buffet no other information provided. A charge of 15 euros per day to park on site is excessive today the least.The 2 story apartment was clean but lacked enough equipment for 6 people. Only small cups and glasses, enquired about mugs and large glasses to be told they don’t do mugs and lent 2 glasses from bar. Tried the breakfast buffet one day but very slow to replenish if not reluctant to do so. The pools are very good and well covered by lifeguards but lacked enough equipment umbrellas for shade. In a 2 week stay bedding and towels changed 1st Thursday then the following Wednesday but had same tea towel whole 2 weeks. Hotel Manager, Owner at Ona Aucanada, responded to this review Hi!   On the outskirts of Alcudia and up a steep hill, this resort is a good base for those wanting to explore local beautiful beaches, hills and other resorts such at Puerto Pollensa. However, the apartments are dated and don’t have a good view from the garden level rooms.   Really nice quiet location away from hustle and bustle of Alcudia with a hilltop view overlooking the mountainous coast. Very friendly staff and nice relaxing atmosphere. Only slight negative is that buffet breakfasts and evening meals are a bit of a free for all as limited space and dishes quickly get polished off without being replaced quickly enough. Also, choice of food a little limited and disappointing for evening meals and people don’t dress up so if you want to have nice evening meals with a bit of glamour don’t eat at the resort.
