  Lovely hotel great breakfast buffet..comfy rooms..good showers and air-conditioning in rooms..reception staff were fantastic. Pools and everywhere in hotel well looked after and cleaned all the time...looking forward to coming back next year

  A really nice place to spend a week

  Having read the reviews I was a little nervous about what we’d find but the hotel was absolutely great and superb value. Our triple room with a balcony in block 4 was big and spacious, spotlessly clean and very pleasant for the week! The staff were friendly and the location was excellent. We appreciated the free municipal parking next to the hotel but it may well be full in busier months. We ate several times at the buffet..it was good value, the food was excellent and the gentleman was really kind and welcoming. I’d definitely stay here again, don’t let the bad reviews put you off!

  Won’t be returning. Definitely 2 star, not 4 This hotel has been refurbished very cheaply, and as other reviewers have mentioned, I also found the reception staff to be rude and unhelpful. The beds are uncomfortable, like sleeping on a brick. No tea, coffee or even a bottle of water in the room. Fridge doesn’t work very well.   Worst hotel ever - this is not a 4 star hotel!

  This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I went with my wife and our two friends. Upon entering the room, which was extremely tiny for a supposed 4 star hotel, the mattress was also very hard. It felt like laying on a brick. Our friends room was a bit bigger and had a much softer mattress. I went downstairs to the front desk to ask if there was anything that could be done, such as changing the room or the mattress. The lady at the front desk just said that there are no rooms available. I checked online and showed her that there are rooms available. She said "sorry I don't speak English. Come back tomorrow to speak to the supervisor." Why is there not a supervisor in the night to deal with such situations??When i was adamant about there being rooms available she just kept saying that there are no rooms. So I asked her to show me proof that there are no rooms to which she said 'come back tomorrow morning or else I will call the police!"Call the police for what? Because I wanted a different room which was clearly available or even a solution to the hard mattress? Worst service ever in a 4 star hotel. The toilet and balcony doors were also extremely difficult to open - so much so that I was almost stuck in the toilet.The next morning we found bugs in our room which I took a video of. The cleaning staff also came into the room at 8am without even knocking. I could have been completely undressed! I then went downstairs to speak to the supervisor about the situation of our room and how rude the woman at the front desk was to me as well as the cleaning staff. The supervisor offered no apology to me about either things and just said that they would send a technician to check our room. I even showed the bugs to him. After coming back to the hotel in the evening, there were different staff at the front desk and I asked the front desk team whether there's been any changes to our room. She had no idea what we were talking about so she checked the notes and saw that nothing was done. After pleading with her to get the supervisor, which she could not do as he had gone home, she said she called the technician to come and said he would be there in 5 minutes. We waited an hour before giving up as the technician did not come at all. The front desk lady just said that to get rid of us. So we had to sleep another night with bugs and a hard mattress. They don't even provide any tea or coffee in the room. Even 1 star hotels provide this. The next morning, we spoke to the supervisor again and I said that nothing was done to our room to fix anything. There was no apology offered. He just said that he would give us a topper for the mattress to make it softer only. So only one resolution was done to the room and that was going to be on our last night anyway. Another thing were the facilities. We wanted to play table tennis and when we went downstairs to ask for some paddles, the lady said it's too late now. So when we asked what time does it close, she was being extremely vague as she just said "when it's dark." So that means the time changes every single day?Also why is the indoor pool closed? The reason they gave was because it closes after the summer. But isn't it a good idea to have an indoor pool open during the autumn or winter seasons? That would make more sense.   This hotel is advertised as four stars, but unfortunately my experience was far from that standard. Future guests should be aware of several issues before booking.Cleanliness was a recurring concern — I found hair on the towels, mold in the bathroom, and dirty communal areas. The shower drain in my room was clogged and remained so even after I reported it. The bed had no proper frame, squeaked and shifted constantly, and the fridge provided neither cooling nor complimentary water. There was also no kettle available, which made even a simple cup of tea impossible.Service was equally disappointing. The reception staff were curt and unhelpful, pointing vaguely in the direction of rooms instead of guiding guests — which can mean wandering through multiple floors or blocks with luggage. Requests for assistance were met with indifference.Breakfast options were extremely limited, not what you would expect from a four-star property. Despite being marketed as non-smoking, the balcony doors are not airtight, so smoke from neighboring rooms easily drifts in.Overall, while the hotel may look appealing on the surface, the reality is poor maintenance, subpar service, and a lack of basic amenities. I would advise future guests to manage expectations or consider alternative accommodation if they are seeking a true four-star experience.
