    Fabulous few days in Cala D’or

    Fabulous apartment, everything you need. the swimming pool was brilliant. It is a great location for the beach which is less than five minutes away, supermarket, bars and restaurants only a few minutes away. Only a ten minute walk into the centre of Cala D’or and 20 minutes to the marina. It is also very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend.

    Thanks for your reply earlier Jurgen. Yes we had to amend our flight to Tenerife for October as not allowed to travel to Mallorca or risk losing our flight money. October is potentially too cold in Mallorca, that’s why we did it. We had to change our flight as couldn’t quarantine in September as our daughter started school as I said many, many times! I didn’t want to leave a bad review and it’s not a review of the place as haven’t been so can’t comment. We love Cala Dor and this place looked perfect for us. The reason for my review is trying to warn people to go for a 100% cancellation somewhere else, in this new world who knows what’s going to happen so not worth the risk. I tried to reason with them for a long time even with a free 100 euros but they were having none of it so now they have £440 pounds of my money, daylight robbery really. They even said I could have my refund to start with and then changed their mind. I said many times that I can’t afford to lose it but they didn’t care. I’m sure the place is great, I knew I wouldn’t cancel but things are different now, you would hope that government advice not to travel a couple of days after refund cut off would have been justified enough to get a refund but guess not with these guys.Everyone who reads this just be cautious and don’t book unless you can guarantee you can go, no one can at the moment so why bother. There are lots of places that allow for cancellation up until the day before so might as well go for that as you really don’t know what will happen. Why risk it and lose as much as I have... that’s all I’m saying. It could have been so much easier than this but they were not willing to compromise at all... hope my money helps and hope that other people don’t fall into the same trap as me.... 😔

    Stayed at Casa Molily for four nights. Nice apartment with direct access to the swimming pool. The standard of the apartment is very good, wee equipped kitchen, nice bathroom and sitting area both in- and outside. Molily is a fantastic host, who gave us a lot of information about what to see and do. She really took care of the guests! Due to the Covid-19 situation no cleaning of the rooms, but new towels where provided and if there was anything one needed, Molilly fixed that. The location is great close to the beautiful Esmaralda beach, a few mintutes walk. Some restaurants close and supermarkets. For buying food the Erisko Spermercao is really good and the nearby Suma Supermarket. The small supermarkets nearby are very expensive, such as SPAR. I do recommend Casa Molilly for a nice stay in Cala d´Or

    We had eleven days staying at osa menor it was very calm and quiet very clean our host were so helpfull and friendly recommended places to eat our apartment was very homely big and spacious only disappointment their was no microwave only cooker

    Lovely family run apartments, Cala d'Or

    Very clean, tidy and well equipped 2 room apartments. Each with their own outside umbrella, table and seating area, set around a well maintained swimming pool.Family friendly, with a secure perimeter; ~3 minutes from the nearest beach "Esmeralda"; ~5mins walk from a reasonable size and priced supermarket "Suma Cala Dor Fruit".However, the real recommendation to stay would be the owners Molily and Jürgen; multilingual, helpful, friendly and genuinely lovely people. They live on site and provide exemplary customer service whilst making sure you have the very best stay possible.Could not recommend enough. We had a very good holiday improved greatly by both Molily and Jürgen's attention to detail and excellent local recommendations for things to do and places to eat.
