    Great location, an okay hotel

    The hotel was well situated within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. Views from the dining room of the seaside and beach were stunning. The rooms are basic but clean. The hotel room walls are paper thin; be prepared to hear conversations and toilets flushing next door as well as the outside traffic and nightlife. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and well laid out. Note - the hotel does not have potable drinking water; the hotel reception desk takes advantage of this by offering you overpriced bottles of water. Advice - go into town and buy your bottles drinking water in bulk.

    Rooms are basic but all you need. We had a partial sea view which was beautiful. Hotel is in a great location. Calla Santayi is a quiet town with a decent amount of places to eat. The beach is stunning.

    Booked direct with hotel and organised airport transport through them which was exceptional value.The hotel's location is perfect. For the best views, book a room with a sea view.The meals are buffet style....could be kept hotter but are good value for money. There is a small fridge in the room to keep drinks cold but the glasses provided are much too small. Unfortunately if you want a brew then you have to rent a kettle - I assume cups would then be provided. If you want security then a deposit and daily rental is charged for the room safe.Hotel is split across two buildings - one each side of the road. The pool is situated at the rear of the second building and has a small pool bar.

    Old rooms bad service….

    I was here with my family from 26-28 may 2024. I booked 3 rooms a month in advance. We was assigned rooms 3 different places on the hotel. And my little sister and brother in an other building at the other side of hotel …. They didn’t even try to fix it … Air conditioning didn’t work as well in the room and the water is salt water. Old hotel rooms… is far away from everything and you can’t walk to a city near by. Is also very very expensive to eat and shop. I would not recommend other to stay here. The only good thing was the view from the hotel and the beach near by.

    I don’t often write poor reviews unless I really have to. On this occasion I need to share my experience to prevent others experiencing the same.I have stated that this hotel is unsafe due to someone unlocking our door and entering our room whilst we were sleeping in the night. Fortunately we both heard the door open and the intruder ran away when my husband jumped out of bed. I alerted the hotel staff the following morning and although they apologised they were very nonchalant about the incident and stated how it was possible someone could obtain the wrong key (I won’t share how for obvious reasons). This suggests to me that this has happened before and I think the hotel’s approach to safety is therefore not acceptable.Safety aside and before the incident I was also disappointed with the hotel. The price per night is not reflective of what you get. The rooms are not particularly clean, we had long black hairs on our floor, small black hairs scattered around the bathroom. The hotel is very tired and the rooms are too. It is like stepping back into the 1970s. The towels are old and discoloured and the beds are rock solid and so uncomfortable. The hotel hosts entertainment in the evening (which I also think is quite old fashioned for a small hotel) and it would be more worthwhile for guests if they instead spent money on new towels and generally a refurb! I’m disappointed we spent hard earned money staying here and instead wish we had rented an apartment. Sorry to say that is was just a disaster and I would actively discourage others from staying here!
