Great Location and Atmosphere, But Rooms Need Better Soundproofing

    rating24 May 2026

I recently stayed at this hotel and honestly, I had a really good time overall. The location was probably one of the best things about it. I loved being able to just walk out of the hotel and instantly have bars, restaurants, and entertainment nearby. The atmosphere was always lively and there was usually something going on, which made the stay feel a lot more fun.The rooms were alright and did the job, but I definitely think they could use some better soundproofing. Around 10 at night, you could still hear the outside music pretty clearly even with the windows closed. It’s great when you’re outside enjoying the shows and nightlife, but not so great when you’re trying to sleep. If they improved that, the rooms would be so much better. For the price though — around £1900 for a family of 4, including return flights from Bristol and a 5-night stay — I actually think the hotel was worth it. I was surprised by how big the hotel was and how much there was to do. Everything was also very clean, which you kind of expect from a hotel, but they genuinely kept the place in really good condition. The amenities were really fun too. They had entertainment games and activities going on, including ping-pong tournaments and games like Sjoelen (I’m probably spelling that completely wrong). Somehow I actually won with 198 points, which I’m still proud of honestly. So yeah, the hotel definitely wasn’t boring.Food-wise, I didn’t try loads of different things because I mostly stuck to chips, pizza, and that kind of stuff, but what I did have was good quality and tasted fresh. I’d say the variety just wasn’t the best for children or people with a more basic palate, so after a while there weren’t loads of options that really suited me. I was also a bit disappointed that there weren’t pancakes at breakfast, and there wasn’t really a snack bar by the pool either, which would’ve been nice during the day. One thing I can’t complain about though was the Granadina — easily the best non-alcoholic drink I had there. That being said, if you can’t really find something you want to eat or drink at the hotel, I’d highly recommend visiting Sky Dream or Ses Ones, which are only a few steps away from the hotel. It’s really convenient, and what makes it even better is that they’re right on the seafront, so the views and atmosphere there are amazing as well. Most of the service during the stay was really good. The staff at the bar were friendly and patient, even though I was probably going up every five minutes for ice cream. However, I do think the service at reception could’ve been handled better. My mother asked if we could move to a quieter room because of the noise at night, and at first we were told the hotel was fully booked. Later, after checking Booking.com, there actually seemed to be rooms available. We were then told the real reason we couldn’t move was because it would involve too much work. That part of the experience was disappointing and could definitely have been dealt with more professionally.Overall, I still enjoyed the hotel and had a good time there. The location, atmosphere, cleanliness, and entertainment were all great. The biggest issue for me was definitely the noise at night and how the room situation was handled, but apart from that, it was a memorable stay and I’d still consider coming back if the soundproofing improves in the future.4/5 stars.

Beautiful view, great location, BUT everything else was a disappointment

    rating30 Oct 2025

We stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, the only positive things I can mention are its location and the beautiful view from the balcony. Everything else was a real letdown. When we arrived (2 adults and 2 kids), we were greeted by a very rude woman at the reception who didn’t even allow the kids to take a candy from the bowl on the counter. The Wi-Fi was only available in the reception area. We live in a modern world where free Wi-Fi should be accessible everywhere, not just in the lobby! If you wanted Wi-Fi in your room, you had to pay separately for each device, which is absolutely unacceptable.Beach towels were also charged at 5 € each, and if you wanted to change them, you had to pay another 5 €. Of course, we didn’t take them and used our own. In the room, there was only one small piece of soap for everyone, and it was never replaced. We had to buy our own liquid soap, shower gel, and shampoo - that was shocking for a hotel of this price range. The hotel operates on an “all-inclusive” basis, but the food was very simple and became repetitive after a couple of days. There was no quality alcohol, the cocktails were terrible, and the coffee was awful instant coffee. The kids’ club was open only for one hour in the morning, and the evening “mini disco” lasted just 15 minutes.Overall, I do not recommend this hotel. It is overpriced, and for the same money, you can find a much better place to stay!

    Perfect

We stayed here 5 nights and everything was really good. Food is ok, we always found something to eat and rooms were cleaned regularly. The entertainment during the day was sooo good, water polo, billiard, darts, kids club. Evening mini disco was a blast for our 3 year old daughter, Marcelo and Julieta are fantastic and do everything from heart. Definitely we will go back.

    Bad tourist

    rating28 Aug 2025

The hotel residents smoke marijuana on the balcony, and the smell of marijuana seeps into the rooms through the cracks in the windows. Also, in the morning everyone runs to the pool and takes up the sunbeds with towels, it's wild. There are a lot of Russian speakers who always talk loudly and behave untidyly.

    What a life saver

    rating09 Aug 2025

We didn't actually stay here, but the very kind and helpful lady at reception booked us a taxi as my friend took not well in the heat back to our hotel in Callar Millor. So Thank you from the 3 of us you were a life saver.
