    Fabulous short break

    rating26 May 2026

Wow what a lovely hotel. We stayed in the adult only section on the 4th floor with access to a roof terrace with pool. This was available to share with just 4 rooms with a lovely heated pool. Nobody else used it so became our private chill out area. Pool was heated so lovely. All inclusive excellent fab drinks with branded alcohol. Buffet restaurant was excellent great choice at breakfast and lunch and dinner. There was usually a theme in the evening which was very enjoyable. We did try the Indian à la carte restaurant and food was lovely. We chose an adult only evening which they do on certain nights of the week.Entertainment daily and nightly just check the tui blue app and it will show the full schedule. Some evening entertainment was very good. The main adult pool area was lovely beds spaced so not all cramped together. Plenty of umbrellas too.I highly recommend this hotel will return. My only couple of negatives are that the sun loungers need mattresses or padded beds and I do not like the fact that people can smoke/vape around the pool. It didn’t ruin my holiday as we just didn’t sit by smokers. Great staff here too

★★★★☆ Wonderful hotel - but few consistent niggles both times we've stayed.

    rating24 May 2026

Overall: ★★★★☆ (4/5) — A second visit that confirmed it's a wonderful hotel, with a few consistent niggles across both stays. This was our second stay at the TUI BLUE Sensatori Biomar (Sa Coma area), and once again the hotel didn't disappoint. It's well-suited to couples after a relaxing break and to families with the budget to match. This review focuses primarily on the Adults Only side, as that's where we've stayed both times, but most points apply hotel-wide.The location on Mallorca's east coast is excellent, with Porto Cristo, Cala Millor and the Cuevas del Drach all within easy reach. The trade-off is the transfer: the Sa Coma resorts involve multiple hotel pickups down narrow streets, so allow 1.5–2 hours from Palma each way. Outbound flight was 6am, and on arrival, our 10:35 pickup didn't reach the hotel until 12:20; on departure, a 14:50 pickup didn't get us to the airport until around 17:00 for a 19:35 flight. With midday checkout and an afternoon pickup, our "long last day" wasn't really that long — worth factoring in when choosing flight times. An earlier, less busy flight would likely have given us more usable resort time. The Adults Only rooms are genuinely lovely. On our first visit we had a top-floor room with a shared rooftop pool (shared between three rooms over a generous space), which was perfect for evening dips but extremely hot during the day. This time we went for a ground-floor swim-up room with terrace and shared pool, which I'd recommend over the rooftop option — it's beautifully appointed and ideally placed for the Adults Only pool, bar and restaurants - it also offers an escape from that hot mid-afternoon sun (after around 5-6pm)The main Adults Only buffet is excellent. A different theme each night, an impressive variety, meat cooked to order on the grill, charcuterie, and an excellent dessert selection. Of the four à la carte restaurants we've tried three — Grill & Steak is the clear standout, Italian a solid second, and the Asian restaurant a distant third (several people we spoke to left hungry, and we skipped it on our second visit). We didn't make it to the Indian this time, but heard consistently good things, and the Indian buffet night was superb, so I'd happily try it next visit.Where the hotel slips a little is the entertainment, and most of this sits with TUI rather than the property itself. There's plenty on the schedule, but the execution is the issue. Everything runs through the TUI BLUE app — log in with your reservation details and you'll find the schedule and any bookable activities there. The problem is that nothing is promoted anywhere else: no entertainers circling the pools to announce what's on, no daily noticeboard, nothing. If you don't check the app, you miss out. Having worked in hotel entertainment previously, this felt like a missed opportunity at an otherwise polished resort.Almost none of the daytime activities are hosted in the Adults Only area. The handful that are, are one off events (happen once a week) — darts, killer pool, cocktail making, fan painting — are the exceptions. Everything else runs at the small semi-circle "Activity Pool" in the middle of the complex, which often had low or zero attendance. Something like Water Polo (16+) would work perfectly at the rectangular large Adults Only pool, but instead it's tucked away at a pool too small to draw a crowd. The Adults Only pool itself lacked atmosphere this trip. No daytime music, no activity, just silence. Some will love that; for me a little ambience goes a long way. One afternoon a DJ played around 20 minutes of Café del Mar-style chill-out, which was great while it lasted — the younger guests clearly enjoyed it too. Some of this may come down to who's staying that week (more on that below). The evening shows are a mixed bag. The three weekly in-house productions — Musicals, Back to the 90s, Disco Fever Boogie Nights — were the same as two years ago, so a refresh from TUI would be welcome. The team is small, which makes the routines feel a little thin, and the shows lean heavily on the entertainers' vocals, which were patchy. Anna is a strong singer and should be featured more. Callum's over-the-top performance style during the group numbers drew the eye away from the dancers who could actually dance, and his solo renditions of well-known songs didn't land. The visiting professional acts were a different story — the magician was excellent, and Pat Monaghan's stand-up was a real highlight in the adults only lobby.A note on timing and clientele: we've visited in May twice and had very different experiences. In 2024 (11–18 May) the hotel was quiet and the Adults Only area pleasantly so. This year (17–24 May) the demographic skewed heavily to 65–80, with only a handful of younger guests, and the vibe was noticeably flat. As we were leaving, younger guests were arriving — likely the start of the school holiday window, which we deliberately avoid due to the price jump. Worth bearing in mind if atmosphere matters to you.Overall, this is still a hotel I'd happily return to. The rooms are beautiful, the food is genuinely excellent, the location works, and the Adults Only setup is the right call for couples wanting to avoid screaming kids. The entertainment offering needs a rethink — both in how it's promoted and where it's hosted especially evening as even in May it's very warm at night and could have moved to the outside stage area already — but it's a long way from a dealbreaker. Four stars, and we'll likely be back for a third visit Protur Hotels, Guest Services / Front Office at Protur Biomar Sensatori Resort, responded to this review Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review following your second stay with us. Amazing stay ⭐️

    rating23 May 2026

Food: Immaculately clean dining areas and the food was delicious. Lots of variety including a children’s buffet. Theme nights each night in addition to other dishes. Separate À la carte restaurant, although I only dined in the main buffet and pool cafe / coffee bar. The desserts were phenomenal in the main buffet. Cleanliness: The hotel was very clean and there were sinks outside the buffet restaurant to wash your hands. Rooms cleaned daily and beach towels provided (swapped for new ones daily at the pool)Staff: Very friendly, polite and helpful. The entertainment team and the TUI kids club staff were great. I felt very comfortable leaving my son in their care.Room: We had an accessible room which was a very good size. The sofa beds in the lounge area were very uncomfortable but the staff swapped them to single beds upon request Hotel: Not too big for it to be overwhelming or chaotic. Generally flat and good accessible access / ramps and hoists by the pool. Stunning location, the adults only section is very luxurious. 2 family pools with sunbeds and cabanasEntertainment: Good - although the quiz was too short. A few extra rounds would make it more fun. Perhaps a better variety of evening adult entertainment as it seems to only be singing / musicals. The musical bingo in the piano bar was a good laugh and my son enjoyed the TUI bots mini disco.Various activities throughout the day, the water running mat was fab. Misc: Shops close by and a beach is a 15 min walk, or few minute taxi drive away. You are able to use the splash park and mini golf at the neighbouring hotel inclusive in your staff. I was so impressed with this hotel that I will be returning next year. The service and facilities are worth the premium cost. Overall a brilliant experience Protur Hotels, Guest Services / Front Office at Protur Biomar Sensatori Resort, responded to this review We are delighted that you especially enjoyed the food, cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff, accessibility, entertainment options, and the overall facilities and location. A great holiday

    rating22 May 2026

Holiday with my husband and 15 month old toddler. We really enjoyed our holiday at Biomar after being recommended this place by two separate friends.Highlights for us: Entertainment -great choice between live music in the piano par (guitarist, pianist or saxophone with singing) or the family section. The live shows were great for our toddler (Tui bots) and the musical show in particular was great. Special shout out to Callum, Emily and Anna - always gave 10/10 effort in their dancing and singing. Really enjoyable to see.Staff - so friendly, inviting and attentive. Rarely were we without a drink!Alcoholic Drinks - the all inclusive drinks were branded and tasted good! Not like other places we had been toFree bikes to rent -(though you need to pay 10 euro deposit per person in cash). Had an amazing time taking my toddler out for the first time on the back of a bike. Helmets also suppliedFood -a lot of variety and tasted good. Italian night was a bit disappointing if I’m being very particular! No tiramisu and the cabanara was just penne with what tasted like a jar sauce.I would definitely recommend for families. My toddler loved the splash pool, park and there was even the indoor pool which was amazing and warm.Another thing to note is the handwashing facilities right by the doors of the buffet restaurant. This really impressed me as it largely forces the majority of people to wash their hands, very reassuring in minimising germs! The hotel is a 10 ish minutes walk away from the local beach, very sandy, loads of shops nearby and sunbeds. We rode to nearby castle (free entry)We usually like to do more excursions but the majority of the ones available were quite a distance away and would be 8 hours plus days )not possible with little ones). There was the option of dino world and the caves but Tui only did this on set days which we found out about too late. This could definitely be advertised better in the reception areaCoffee was ok at the place. Thea’s coffee shop was not open until half 10 which was annoying as I didn’t like the standard filter coffee served with breakfast. They provide “syrup” at the coffee shop but this is actually sauce which congeals at the bottom of your iced coffee. The coffees were drinkable and I kept going back for more, however they could definitely be better! I was very happy that they had oat milk Overrall we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend *One last thing - we went in May and none of my family got bitten by mosquitos - this was a fear of mine after reading reviews!
