This was not a four star hotel. Rude staff.

    rating25 May 2026

Where do i start? We got there and it's a beautiful location, stunning views and a 2 min walk to the restaurants and bars. Upon arrival, no welcome drink provided despite this being advertised. Reception staff were not friendly, made a fuss about us using two cards and our room wasn't ready - yes it was 1pm but, when you specifically ask me what time i am arriving, it kinda gets your hopes up that you will be ready for us? We made our way to the pool, only to find no sun loungers, and you could hear a pin drop, no ambient music or anything- it doesnt have to be loud but just something. Then i went to order a coke zero and they'd 'finished'- how can you run out at 1pm? I ordered £15 chicken strips which were undercooked and overpriced. We were not having a good impression by this point. I have to say the views at the pool were stunning though. We then went to our room when it was ready-no one contacted me to say it was ready despite us being told theyd whatsapp me. The room was too small for two people , we felt cramped. Also, i mentioned i was celebrating my birthday, and nothing was in the room no welcome drink or even a little something would have been nice! Really poor. We left our towels on the floor a few times and they were not replaced. The shower water didnt run down the plug hole quickly enouugh and having a long shower flooded the entire bathroom!!! There was a full length mirror but you cant use it as a chest of drawers is in its way-weird placement. On one day our card wouldnt work to let us in the room. We went down to get it sorted and noone was on reception. We waited 15 mins and had to ask bar staff, eventually after 20 mins someone who was not reception staff came and said he cant sort it out as doesnt have the password and the receptionist must be on lunch! Waited 30 mins for something so simple to be sorted is simply astonishing. The reception staff were rude to us throughout the stay apart from the woman, i am not sure what they had against us but we felt very uncomfortable during the stay. This is NOT a four star hotel. Do not expec a four star stay -we would not come back, despite the beautiful grounds and location it simply was not worth the money .

Amazing pool and view! Sometimes weird service

    rating25 May 2026

Hi, first of all, we really liked the stay, we love Port de Soller and the pool and view from the pool was amazing and rooms were really nice! Our complaint is of some of the staff (not all staff, many was super nice and sweet). When we ate breakfast and ordered dishes like pancakes and omelets, it was very random what we got back. We multiple times ordered pancakes with only nutella (no fruit, no sugar) and got with fruit and sugar. We also ordered plain pancakes with nothing and got bakc with fruit. We multiple times ordered a number of plates of pancakes and got the wrong number. We also ordered the omelet with specific ingredients (i think we asked with no cheese) but did not get it right. At one point we ordered in total 4 plates of pancakes and got two. No big deal, we just order 2 more after we finish eating. When we ordered again, the waiter looked at us and asked "you already have gotten 2 plates" and looked irritated that we wanted to order more. I felt it was kind of unpleasant, why not just smile and say, yes coming right up. Why make us feel that we are not allowed to order more. If that is the case, tell all guest that we are only allowed one plate of pancakes per day. If we are allowed more, dont act like that. One time we asked one of the hostest if we could order from her, she said "no, she is just the hostes, you can order at some of the others" and then she just left. She could have just said "just a minute, I will fetch one of the waiters", she did not. Seemed again a bit weird. The other hostes, every morning said "good morning, how are you doing?" then before we could answer, just said "room number?". Again a bit weird, just ask our room number and not how we are doing, if you are just going to cut us of. We are okay with giving our room number quick with out small talk. But it felt weird getting cut off every morning. Some of the other younger staff was very nice and sweet and helpfull. We very much enjoyed our stay, it was just small things that felt kind of weird.

    Food can be disappointing.

Perfect location over looking the bay. Staff friendly and helpful. Good Breakfast but don't be sold gastronomic evening dinning as it certainly is not !!!! Relaxing place to visit when you use the Soller train

    rating01 May 2026

A nice place to visit but the tram cost is expensive at 10 Euros each way. Most cost effective way is to book online with the Soller railway. That said, it is lovely experience. An excellent early season holiday

    rating13 Mar 2026

A really lovely hotel in a superb position on the bay. Very quiet when we were there in March and despite very changeable weather, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The room was perfect - large and comfortable bed and a very good shower. The good sized balcony overlooked the sea and the padded chairs were ideal for relaxing. The breakfast buffet was excellent and additional items available to order, such as fluffy pancakes and omelettes . The dinners were delicious and beautifully presented - our only issue was the lack of choice for vegetarians- several starters but only one main course option. All in all, a perfect off season break. There is a bus stop 20 minutes walk away with an excellent service to Soller, Palms and beyond and there is also easy access to some of the walking trails. General Manager Port de Soller, General Manager at Pure Salt Port de Soller, responded to this review Dear Mrs. Cheshire,Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that you had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and that you loved the peaceful early-season atmosphere, your comfortable room, and the lovely sea views from your balcony.Your kind words mean a lot to our team and inspire us to keep creating memorable experiences for our guests. We would be delighted to welcome you back for another relaxing holiday soon!Warm regards,Angel SoleraGeneral Manager
