Staff good, need a car as area not great

    rating19 Aug 2025

Mixed review! Hotel felt clean and most staff were really very helpful. Breakfast was standard, nothing special but was fine. Room was nice and large, but totally open toilet and showerGym was very small, only two machines but was fine for what I used it for and staff brought over fresh water. Location was not great, nothing open in the area and so we ate at the same pizza place every evening. Nothing going on and so would 100% recommend a car if staying here. Xavier Salas , Director General at Sa Creu Nova Petit Palais Art & Spa, responded to this review Dear Kkatie2019Thank you very much for your visit and for sharing your opinion with us and with the rest of the travelers. We appreciate your kind words about our staff, the cleanliness, and the size of our rooms.Your comments are very important to us and help us improve the level of our standards day by day. We are very sorry that our breakfast, where we serve the freshest and locally sourced products, did not meet your expectations.I’m very sorry that you do not share our taste for the open design of our bathrooms, but with just the right amount of privacy to ensure our guests feel comfortable. I also deeply regret that having a treadmill, a stair climber, and multi-power machine seemed insufficient to you for a hotel with only 17 rooms.Regarding your comment about the location, we are very sorry you did not like it, but the village of Campos is famous for its location, just 20 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes from Palma city, and only 10 minutes from the most beautiful and famous beaches on the island. As for life in the village, Campos offers a wide variety of places. Next time, I would recommend asking our reception team, who will be happy to assist you with recommendations and reservations at any restaurant on the island. We truly hope to welcome you again very soon and change your perception of our Petit Palais and our beautiful and charming village.Best Regards,

    Wonderful stay

    rating31 Jul 2025

Hotel is 20 minutes from the airport located in a small quaint town with no direct beach access. So you will need to rent a car if you want to go to the beach. Most beaches are 20–60 minutes away, but parking can be difficult for the beach depending where you go. There is street parking and only a handful of times did we struggle.Initial impression was odd as it looks like a storefront rather than a hotel but you enter the lobby and immediately transported into this wonderfully decorated spa resort. Everything about the small resort makes you feel at peace and calm. They have a small pool (I thought it was much larger based on the pictures) and a small sitting area. Many rooms have their own sun loungers overlooking the courtyard but given it’s landlocked it gets very hot in the summer and it’s unbearable to lay out for long periods of time. The rooms itself are well decorated and large. The room I stayed and had a small living room room with two chairs and a TV. The room has every amenity you can need. Great hair, dryer, bath, robes, slippers, extra toilet paper, spoons for tea and coffee. They even gave you a beach tote with separate beach towels, which get replenished daily. They really put a lot of thought into decorating the rooms.During the summer, it may be tough to use the spa which you can rent for an hour at a time and it’s nice to have the entire facility to yourself. They have a Turkish bath, hot tubs, steam room, etc. We were able to use it on a cooler day when it rained and it was lovely, but in the summer it may be tolerable due to the weather and lack of air conditioning. From start to finish the staff were incredible and really went above and beyond to help make her stay comfortable. They also have free beach umbrellas to rent if you’re going to the beachBreakfast was fantastic with an excellent spread and a large selection of hot food that you can order. Overall, this was a wonderful hotel and well priced for what you received. The major pros are the staff, spa and quiet serene landscape. This isn’t a big tourist town. If you’re looking for a hotel on the beach with ocean views, this is not for you. The drives can be long and then you have to park and walk along distance, depending where you go. If you’re looking for a tranquil, peaceful, spa vacation, and don’t mind driving this is a wonderful hotel to choose. Xavier Salas , Director General at Sa Creu Nova Petit Palais Art & Spa, responded to this review Dear Mash18,We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to leave us this review. We are very happy to see that you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to see you again very soon.Best regards from Campos.Alice Silva

Misleading management, poor service, and an unprofessional spa experience — not 5-star at all

    rating31 Jul 2025

I stayed at Sa Creu Nova Petit Palais Art & Spa expecting a relaxing, premium end to my Mallorca trip — but this place was a complete letdown.Let’s start with the so-called “spa.” The massage I received was handled by what seemed to be an untrained freelancer. There was no consultation, no explanation, and no professionalism. After the treatment, I felt genuinely unwell and raised my concerns — only to be met with a cold, dismissive attitude from the general manager. No apology, no accountability. It genuinely makes me question why “Spa” is even in the hotel’s name.I was told I would be refunded for the treatment. That refund never came. Now, the hotel is claiming it’s conditional on a “medical report.” For the record, I did provide a cited source from a credible medical institution — not a “random Google link,” as the manager falsely claimed in their public response. Dismissing that information was not only unprofessional but evasive. In their reply, the manager also claimed I gave positive feedback at checkout — which is simply false. In fact, no one even assisted me properly during checkout. I waited a long time (as other reviewers have noted), and no one asked for feedback at all.I never praised the restaurant. Breakfast was poor, with limited, bland options. Dinner felt awkward and underwhelming — served in the same space, on plastic chairs, lacking any atmosphere or luxury feel. It’s deeply troubling that, instead of taking responsibility, the hotel is now attempting to rewrite the guest experience in public. That alone speaks volumes. I stand by every part of this review. The hotel may look beautiful in photos, but the service, attitude, and attention to detail are far below 5-star standards. If you’re looking for real hospitality, comfort, and care — I suggest you look elsewhere. Xavier Salas , Director General at Sa Creu Nova Petit Palais Art & Spa, responded to this review Dear Stella, Thank you very much for your comments. Unfortunately, we cannot be agree with any of them. If you will allow me, we can start with the treatment issue. As we've stated in all our emails, we deeply regret the situation, but as we've already told you, without an official medical report, we can't take any action. You yourself confirmed that you didn't have an appointment with your doctor, that there's no diagnosis, and that you haven't received any treatment. As you can understand, links from a Google search aren't sufficient to prove that you've suffered any problems with our products. I am very sorry that you find my requests derogatory and unprofessional. Once again, I remind you that our therapists have more than 20 years of experience and hold their national and European certifications, and that our products are organic, natural, and completely suitable for pregnant women. Regarding the rest of the comments, we are even more than surprised. If I remember correctly, at checkout, you told us that you had thoroughly enjoyed your stay and highly rated our restaurant, Tess de Mar, both breakfast and dinner. You also commented on aspects such as the quality of our products and the overall good atmosphere in the hotel. We truly hope we can resolve this issue and that your opinion of us, our services, and standards will change. As soon as you have your official medical report, please send it to us so we can take corrective measures if necessary. We send you our warmest regards. Xavier Salas Hotel Manager

A Peaceful Luxury Escape – Highly Recommended!

    rating29 Jul 2025

This hotel was an absolute gem! Located just 20 minutes from the airport and about 25 minutes from Palma, it’s perfectly situated in a charming village with shops, restaurants, and local markets all within walking distance. We especially loved the local markets on Thursday and Saturday—such a nice touch of local life. From the moment we arrived, everything felt luxurious. The property is like a peaceful little oasis with limited rooms, which makes the experience feel intimate and exclusive. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering thoughtful touches like beach bags, towels, and great local tips. The rooms are on the smaller side but beautifully designed and very well optimized for comfort. Storage could be a bit better, but that’s a minor point. The entire property is quiet and relaxing, making it perfect for a restful stay. The hotel has its own private gym, sauna, and spa, which added a wonderful wellness aspect to our stay. The on-site restaurant is fantastic—it also serves breakfast, which includes an à la carte menu and a generous buffet with pastries, sandwiches, yogurt, ham, cheese, and more. The coffee was just okay, but everything else more than made up for it.Street parking was free and easy, which is always a plus. All in all, we absolutely loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

Exceptional staff, great boutique hotel, central location avoiding the crowds

    rating12 Jul 2025

Sa Creu is a hidden jewel. Campos as a location might not be well known, but that is exactly an advantage in overcrowded Mallorca. You get tranquility and relaxation, an intimate pool area, amazing service, but above all staff who are genuinely striving to give you the best possible experience. Everyone on the team was very friendly and helpful, going the proverbial extra mile - whether it was about finding the best beach for a certain day (with beaches and calas getting very busy during weekend in the high season), reserving a good restaurant last minute, and more. Their dedication to providing exceptional service is palpable in every moment. We would like to particularly thank Alice Silva who has made our stay so incredible – you are awesome! On the restaurant side their Tress restaurant is delicious and recommendable. Beaches are only 20 mins away, and Palma is just 30 mins, so it’s still very central (even for Tramuntana - around is about 40 mins to Valdemossa). Only minor point that could still be optimised is the gym, but it wasn’t a priority for us. Highly recommended for people who like the smaller format of a boutique hotel with exceptional customer service. Thank you for making our stay so beautiful! Xavier Salas , Director General at Sa Creu Nova Petit Palais Art & Spa, responded to this review Dear Mr. Mike It is always a pleasure to welcome guests like you to our Petit Palis.Let me thank you for taking the time to write this amazing review and for your appreciation. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and our services. It will always be a pleasure to welcome you back and we look forward to welcoming you very soon!Best regards from Campos.Alice Silva
