  Such a lovely hotel. Probably the nicest staff I’ve came across. Rooms were lovely & clean. Breakfast was amazing so much choice. Plenty of sun loungers. Only let down, a strange pool. I would definitely come back. My self & seven friends had a great time

  We have been visiting this hotel for over 15 years. It never disappoints . Over the years we have become so familiar with the place there were people who we meet over and over again whose names we didn’t know!!! However they always greet us with a warm word and a smile 😊. So here goes… Magdalena .. what a lady . She’s at breakfast then you blink and she’s at the pool bar. Tony and Maria , over 20 years of service all three of them just wow. It says a lot about them and a lot about the hotel , Sergio what a guy , he makes the bar / reception. This hotel is a joy . The breakfast , wow !!! Spotless and full of life . Love it . We ll be back soon xx❤️

  Continuing refurbishment keeps up the standards and great value .

  We have been a regular visitor here for over 15 years. Pre COVID we were getting concerned that the hotel was lacking investment and starting to look tired and in need of a revamp. Thankfully ,this is exactly what has happened! The public rooms have been refurbished and re furnished, the corridors redecorated and bathrooms renewed. We have continued to visit throughout this redevelopment period. We returned this weekend to see that the decorators were on site refreshing the main reception lounge area as well as completely redecorating the exterior of the property.The wall by the garden entrance to the road leading to the port is being rebuilt ( the children’s park is currently partially closed) but enough is still functional to ensure that Louis ( our 2.5 year old had fun! ) A BIG thank you to Sabi in the restaurant,for his great service and fun with Louis ( A great asset to the hotel) The buffet food in the restaurant is beautifully presented and offers a great choice .The TV reception is a bit bumpy but sufficient to chill for a while and catch the news The housekeeping throughout the hotel is excellent and the hotel offers great value for money.

  Very average but plenty that can be easily remedied

  It’s been 2 years since we visited here (4th visit in total) and the crazy golf has gone and the playground outside is under construction. A great shame when you are visiting with children - the park is still advertised, the crazy golf is an oversight on my part. The children’s pool wasn’t really open - no sun loungers / chairs, leaves in the pool etc. The indoor pool definitely needs a good clean but convenient if it was to rain I suppose. Absolutely no air-con available at this time of year. When we asked, it’s centralised and most people want warm air at this time of year apparently. Not at 25 degrees outside surely? Maybe I am asking too much from a hotel but when you’re travelling with children, especially young ones, you do come to expect things that make life a little easier … like a cool room to make sure they’re comfortable enough to sleep. We had a do not disturb sign on our door one afternoon for our little ones to have a nap. A male knocked the door twice and entered our room - saw me and apologised. My husband went off to see what on earth had happened - something to do with a faulty tv. Nothing we’d reported. So I would support other people’s claims that things can go missing - especially if people are entering rooms unannounced. Keep things locked away in your case or in the safe. Better safe than sorry. Restaurant - the juice at breakfast is totally watered down and tastes just awful. Coffee - just ok. But plenty of variety food wise, something to suit everyone and the staff are very friendly - great with children. Pool bar was good for a drink or snack. Again - the waiter is absolutely fantastic. We had a fabulously sized room. 213. Great size for a family of 4 - with large walk in wardrobe, two double beds and a great sized balcony. Recommend the room for size but do agree with other reviews that it’s time for an upgrade and bit of TLC. TV channels are rubbish for English visitors but not a concern to us as we had an iPad with us. I know these things like upgrades and refurbishments take time. The outside areas are being done up which is nice to see, I must add. The reception and pool areas look far better… more modern and welcoming. I’m sure IF we do return again, we’ll see further upgrades and they’ll be welcomed too.

  Missing Purse

  My wife and I stayed here in March for 4 nights. While there the hotel was undergoing refurbishment and painting on around 2/3rds of the hotel which we were not pre-warned about. The lobby bar and area had external workers in either polishing or putting a top surface on the tiles every single day using machinery, this made using the bar and lobby area very difficult or unable to at some times. The pool bar was closed and the outdoor pools were full of leaves and debris and not cleaned once whilst we were there. On the day we checked out my wife took her purse out of the safe, where it had been for all the time we stayed there, and placed it on the bed. We were landing in the UK when she realised that she had left her purse on the bed, at the first chance we rang the hotel and explained the situation but was told we would need to call back the next day. We called the next day and again told to call back later which we did and were then told that they had checked with house keeping who said the purse was not there. I politely explained that it was there and had been in the safe for all the remaining time we had been there. I was told sternly it was not there and that they had my contact details should it turn up. Absolutely shocking customer service, particularly as we know the purse was there when we left the room and shut the door.I would never return to this hotel or recommend it.
