  How to enjoy Mallorca

  Located in the quiet area of Mallorca, Cala d Or, it is a very welcoming, quiet farmhouse, with few rooms, Andrea's management is perfect, you feel at home, with the freedom to use the beautiful common areas and also the kitchen.Simple, good breakfast, cleanliness and excellent rooms.Recommended for those who want to enjoy a holiday away from traffic in a beautiful and well-kept environment.The beach of Cala Sa Nau is a 10 minute walk away, equipped, as is Cala Mitjana 20 minutes away and for the evening Cala D Or offers several restaurants etcThe car is essential Originally submitted in Italian on www.tripadvisor.it.   Quietly located residence in the countryside

  We booked this stay under the name of hotel. But it is important to know that it is absolutely not a hotel so that you can adjust your expectations accordingly. We would rather describe it as a B&B and mention that here too you should know that there is no extra service outside of breakfast. Towels change every other day. There are no soaps or shampoo provided and no clean sheets or cleaning of the room during the 10 days of our stay. After 1 p.m. the housekeeper has also gone home and you will be alone with the other guests. You will be offered a charming house with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. Breakfast is basic and is served at the table where you sit at one table with the other guests. You can use the kitchen to prepare something in the evening and enjoy it on the terrace. If you know in advance what you can or cannot expect at this stay, it is certainly a nice place, beautifully situated in the countryside and extremely quiet. The swimming pool is beautifully situated in the garden, the beds could deserve more attention, some are not height adjustable / or not neatly maintained. Too bad, but we were still able to enjoy it, there are never many people at the pool so you can just get a good bed. So go for the homely atmosphere and enjoy all the peace and quiet you find here.   a peaceful oasis

  This is a lovely old finca turned into a small hotel. It has been very beautifully decorated with simple furniture and lighting. It still feels like a home rather than a hotel. The guests have use of the kitchen once breakfast has been served so it is a cross between a villa and a hotel. We were in Majorca in August so the island was heaving with tourists Finca S'Antigor was an oasis of peace and a day spent by the pool was heaven.

  perfect place to relax..

  After numerous of years spending our summer vacation at an all in resort, we booked a room at this beautiful Finca. It's located at a peacefull and perfect spot, to relax and enjoy and rest, wich we really needed. It's close to a beautiful small beach and near to all kind of small villages, the biggest one Cala d'Or.You defenitly need a car, but hiring one is not expensive.The house itself is spacious, the room all different, there are six rooms/suites en they have a balcony or a terras. We had a large room at a corner, with a whirlpool and a large balcony with view over the sea.From 09.00 Andrea the hostess is server breakfast in the garden, she cleans the house and the rooms and leaves at 13.00, after that time you can use the facilities and even cook your own meal in the large kitchen, we did that once, since we did liked it more to have diner somewhere outside.We truely recommend this perfect spot!!!!!

  Beautiful property- poor quality service

  We stayed at the Finca S’Antigor during our visit to Mallorca on our honeymoon. We arrived just after 5:00 pm and there was no one there to greet us. When we text the manager (Andrea) called us back right away to give us instructions. I found this to be low quality for the price and style of property this was. We were expecting to be greeted by someone when we arrived and shown our room and amenities- not receive a phone call where we are forced to be paying $5 a minute roaming charges. The room was musty and dark. The light was burnt out and the bed was terrible. I did not sleep at all our first night. The bathroom was in poor condition and was of the quality of a low-end motel. I would highly recommend the owners of this property invest in a Spanish manager and upgrade the beds/bathrooms to be of the level they are charging. We were very disappointed to find that the manager was not on hand to offer recommendations for the area and answer any questions we had. The house and grounds were very nice and there were two beautiful horses that came to the fence to greet you each morning. The breakfast was average for that style of B&B; nothing special (basic meats/cheese/bread) and one egg. It was the same selection every day. One important point, you will 100% need to rent a car to get around the area. The house is hard to find (small winding roads) and very far from the closest town of Calogne. The closest beach is NOT 150 meters (as they advertise) it’s a 1km drive down a winding dirt road. There is free parking and sun chairs you can rent. Be aware the chairs are very expensive (16 euro for the day- for 2 people). One point to note, you can take umbrellas/floats/beach toys from the Finca to use at other beaches. This property does not offer a dinner in the evenings and you will need to drive at least 20 mins to get to the closest restaurants. I was not very impressed with the service from the manager (Andrea). We found her to be indifferent and unavailable/unfamiliar to answer simple questions about the area. She cleaned our room once in 4 days. I would not stay here again, as the location/quality does not warrant the price charged.
