    Forget the bad reviews.My wife and I had a great time staying here for 2 weeks last month (July '21), so much so that we are going back for 6 nights this week!Ernesto, Arismeidy and their team really make an effort to make you feel relaxed and enjoy your stay at their friendly hotel and if you make the effort then even better. Not everything is fully operational and little things like the trees and shrubs need a bit of tending, this all due to the pandemic. Any thoughts of this though disappeared during our stay here.We felt safe, welcome and chilled out from the moment we arrived quite late in the evening, when we were greeted by Alberto, the friendly receptionist and barman.Unfortunately the kitchen was closed at the time of our stay but on a couple of late afternoons Ernesto fired up the barbecue. Superb!Although the hotel is 2 star, it is kept immaculately clean(rooms everyday) by the friendly hardworking cleaning team and serves its purpose well with a great bar inside and out and a nice pool and sunbed area facing south with plenty of sun (and shade if needed).Back to the bar, lovely cold refreshing Estrella on tap. €4 Mojitos Fridays (best I've ever had!) and a litre carafe of Sangria for only €6. Plenty of shots too!!! It's not 5 star(it doesn't claim to be) but it's probably more friendly, genuine and value for money than many other places in Cala Ratjada.

    The hostel is in bad condition with main structure exposed over the balcony. Our bathroom looked like it had very bad water damaged ceiling and a cut out square. There is a bath tub with no plug or a tap?... The shower rail fell down twice just missing me after a shower. The balcony rail wasn't fitted at the top so wobbled badly. Bitten by bugs over night. ( we couldn't even see them). The sheets weren't changed at all when we were there. BASIC doesn't even come close

    Staff were lovely but don’t expect too much you get what you pay for,no lifts no kettle no tv it really is just a room with single beds ,towels changed regularly and sheets once a week. Situated near to centre just a short walk to harbour but be aware it is catered mainly for our German friends!

    Filthy,smelly, nothing nice to say about this hell hole, don't waste your money,the pictures of this place are a joke, no elevator do no good if you can't carry your case up four flights of stairs like we did, no mattress just a piece of hard foam ,we didn't eat any food here as couldn't trust it due to the filth , I will certainly do my research in future.

    My husband and I recently stayed here for a short 5 night break, the pictures of this hostel are totally inaccurate, it is a absolutely filthy hole, there is a terrible stench in all rooms,we know this as we refused to stay in the first two they showed us, you sleep on a peice of foam for a mattress, we stayed 5 nights and towels or sheets not changed , the water from the shower is nothing more than a dribble and cold but as it was 30degrees outside a cold shower was acceptable, we only looked at the breakfast once and didn't go there again it caters for the German market, there was only one man who could speak a little English, all the rails are loose on the balcony and stair case, this is not a place if you have mobility issues we had to climb four flights of stairs, the only time I smiled here was when we packed and left it's a disgrace don't waste any money staying here .
