Clean, comfortable and convenient

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and we lived all the pillows. The view of the city from our high floor was beautiful. I would have appreciated if when we checked in I was told about coffee service in downstairs near restaurant but eventually figured it out on my own. Shower was great and very clean. Valet was friendly and convenient. The hotel was great. It felt safe, was clean, and had a lot of perks. It was very quiet for being in a rather rowdy neighborhood. Good value and safe hotel for location

Great place to stay in central SF. Room was good, location OK but not threatening. Good places to eat locally, and a very well maintained bar. Staff friendly and a/c not blasting away all the time - indeed, it does not have it in rooms, only fans which is perfect for me.Only problem was a wrongly charged final bill, so do check before you leave - but Marriott refunded me quickly when I questioned it when I got home. Nice hotel, very clean and great location, nice gym and friendly service.

Location is great and very walkable around union square. As always use caution given the extreme amount of homeless people but that’s not the hotels fault - they had night security while I was there at the door. The rooms were very clean if not a bit dated; there was very little sound insulation so I could hear my neighbors coughing and talking. The blinds didn’t fully cover the windows so the sun woke me as did an alarm set for 6am by a prior guest. Breakfast was fine, service was great and the front desk staff were very nice. Solid size gym with free weights. Would stay again!

Incredibly overpriced hotel. Completely gouged because of a conference. Location was good and staff was friendly.

Incredibly overpriced hotel with very basic amenities. Friendly staff but limited service. Billed me twice for the same room. Refunded the overbill but because of the exchange rate left me with a balance. Will not repeat.
