    I just came back from Colonia Sant Jordi and 3 nights stay at this hotel. Pretty much this hotel has the best location in Sant Jordi , you will be amaze by the beaches that surround this area, who needs to go to the Caribbean when you have this in Majorca!!! The water is Crystal clear, blue and warm and you can walk for hours along the beach .... I almost don't want to share this founded gem!! Now let's review the Hotel, Villa Marquesa are apartments located less than 100 metros from the main building, yet you can enjoy all the facilities the hotel has to offer, I don't get some of the bad comments I read before I book this place, the apartments are simple but very clean (I was expecting something a lot worst for the price we paid), the bathroom got a very good power shower, we only experience the bad smell coming from the "salinas" one morning , but this smell can be experience anywhere in the town,is not exclusive for this apartment. We have half board included and we weren't disappointed ,the food is very good everyday it was something different for dinner and a big selection for breakfast!!! Another thing, most of the clients in this hotels were retired Germans, there were not many middle age or young people stayed here but we didn't mind that it was not an issue for us , the staff where very helpful and friendly. Overall, very good value for money, we will be returning!!     Stayed one night while cycling in Mallorca. Basic. Stayed in the "annex" about 200m away from the main hotel. No lights in the hallways and quite noisy. Ok for what we needed but definitely not if you want to enjoy the pool at the hotel. Guests were mostly older and entertainment is offered daily. The breakfast was good and basic.     Booked this hotel for a weekend stay in Mallorca. Main reason was it's proximity to a really nice beach.Villa Marquesa are apartments 100 metres from the main Marquesa hotel.The apartments are very basic, in need of a desperate refresh. The bed was small, the bathroom shower barely trickled and the room smelled kind of mouldy. I cannot imagine booking this hotel in the middle of summer as the Villa Marquesa apartments have no AC (only a ceiling fan)The TV has 9 -10 channels, and all were in German except for 1. I understand that the clientele is 90% German, but a Spanish or English channel would have been appreciated.The fun thing about this weekend,was that there was a Zumba convention as part of a 'fitness week' from Zurich. That meant we were surrounded by 250 Zumba-goers which provided a colourful ambiance with their workout clothes and classes. Enjoyed the music from the beach.I would not stay here more that a weekend and certainly not during the summer months.The staff at reception were courteous, in particular Whilemina who was very nice and helpful and from what I understood was new in her position.

    Loved our stay at Villa Marquesa. Near Es trenc end the village. Nice breakfast at Hotel Marquesa. Only complaints is that rooms was a little bit old and satellite tv was in Spanish and Germen. Why not a few Inglish channels?

    Mallorca's surprises!!

    Although i had a reservation through Booking.com , by the time i arrived at the reception at Hotel Marque ( all visitors check-in, and check-out at hotel Marque) , the firendly staff informed me, that because Villa Marquesa was over-booked , they will transfer me to anothel Hotel, not far away. Can you imagine my suprise after the long trip i had. They also try to calm me, by saying that the hotel they are going to tranfer me is a four star hotel , with better facilities, and it was on the same chain (Universal Hotels) . And of course , all this changes without paying anything extra. So, my review to villa Marquesa will end here!!
