  Excellent Traditional Hotel

  We carefully chose this hotel to suit our needs at the time.It was almost perfect.Wonderful hotel with excellent location, very friendly efficient staff and typical traditional Spanish style.The grounds immediately around the hotel were beautifully kept with mature trees and flowers. Further afield was natural habitat with carpets of wild flowers with an interesting marked walk. What let it down from getting a 5 star from us was ....the hot breakfast was consistently cool ! and the shower in the bathroom was antiquated and set at a very high level so no adjustment. Food was good and nicely presented apart from a couple of dinners that did not hit the mark.WOULD WE GO AGAIN ? YES WE WOULD it is a unique wonderful place to stay.   A lovely peaceful escape

  A really lovely quaint hotel, allowing for a very relaxing and peaceful stay. The hotel area including Reception, the restaurant and pool area was beautiful, well maintained and clean. At night there’s fairy lights around the restaurant and some of the rooms, which is a lovely touch. Unfortunately the farm land around seems to have been neglected recently. It’s advertised and also on the map we were given, that there are horses, goats, vineyard, olive trees etc however these are no longer here & instead the area has become barren. This was a little disappointing. The pool was a great temperature and had plenty of comfy sunbeds. Pool towels are provided and staff come round offering drink refreshments. Food is absolute delicious, all made with fresh ingredients. A good quality breakfast buffet, varied snack menu with plenty to choose from and a 3 course dinner menu which changed each night. I was a little nervous about the set menu, but didn’t need to be! There were different main / starter options and always something nice to eat. Great sized portions and really reasonably priced. We had a basic comfort room, it was clean and very quiet! Although, there was no mini bar, robe or slippers which were advertised. We arrived late and dinner was put in our room, which we really appreciated, they also made us a breakfast pack up for our early departure. One thing to note, Reception staff are not here 24/7 and if you arrive late (around 10pm ish) they will not be there to check you in, instead leave your keys and a map. We felt this was rather poor. They also don’t start until 8am, which seems quite late. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and are a real asset to the hotel. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so if you are wanting to go out and explore you are best hiring a car, although taxis were great for us. It’s about 30 mins from Palma and also the airport. We grabbed a taxi straight from the airport, which was so easy! Taxis were around EUR60 to both Palma and airport. This is a really great place to go and totally unwind. A peaceful escape!

  Charming and Peaceful Sa Bassa Rotja

  It's perfect for families but also for a romantic getaway. We went on a family vacation, and it was fantastic for everyone. The rural location guarantees tranquility and activities for everyone. The farm is located in the south-central part of the island, about a 30-minute drive from most beaches and Palma. The pool is fantastic, and despite being crowded with families, the peace and quiet of the space was respected by everyone (except our teenagers, who we reminded of the rules every 5 minutes). The food is extraordinary, with local produce, and we often chose to dine at the hotel because of the tranquility of the space and, above all, the staff. I'll end with the staff. That's what makes this place so special. Thank you all for your friendliness, good humor, and warm welcome to our family.   Relaxing, calm, rustic

  We really enjoyed our time in Mallorca for a relaxing holiday. The hotel was rustic and authentic providing a Mallorcan feel. We enjoyed using the gym, pools and restaurant. The food was carefully prepared each day with a varied selection of options. The staff were helpful and friendly enabling a hassle free break. Great for a relaxing break.   Todo perfecto. Good service in the restaurant from Raul. Pool is clean and nice. Receptionists are very friendly. Room was cleaned every day. Very quiet and green area.
