Paulo was an excellent host. He was so welcoming and gave us lots of hints and tips during our stay. He was so attentive even before we arrived, answering questions about restaurants and arranged transport from airport. Fantastic rooms. Spotlessly clean and spacious. Comfortable beds and good shower. Having the little kitchen for coffee and snacks was great if you wanted to grab a coffee in the morning before exploring. Such a lovely touch to leave a bottle of wine for our anniversary. About a 10-15 min walk to colloseum and close to metro. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Rome. The room was all clean and has everything you would need. The host was very kind and welcoming. The location was good, near to the subway and bus station but you can also reach many attractions just by walking. Well done!Highly recommended! Very Disappointing!!!

Booked our 3 night stay, June 10-13, 2023 at this highly rated property.this weekend they emailed to state they could no longer honor the room we had confirmation we booked. They said the rate was much higher now, and they couldn’t give us that room anymore. They said we could cancel if we weren’t happy. It’s like they were trying to get us to cancel. We didn’t! We were surprised, but had no choice to accept. Next day they emailed and said they put our credit card through and it didn’t work so reservation was canceled. We called our credit card company they put through wrong expiry year, which we never gave them. They also put credit card through 20 days early, it wasn’t suppose to be out through til 7 days before. Our credit card information was fine, they just wanted our room. Very unprofessional to do this when we booked so far in advance. Shocking thru have such high reviews!! I am sorry this happened but there are probably other room rentals with a similar name. I have to take this undeserved score as trip advisor told me it can't delete the review. This was a very small but nice hotel. The manager is super nice and helpfull. The rooms are modern and homey. Everything is fresh and clean. The beds are comfortable. A MUST for anybody visiting Rome! In a great location within easy reach of all the sights.Within seconds of arriving you will understand why this venue is named ‘At Home’.We received the warmest welcome from the lovely Paulo and an immediate check in to our beautiful room and a tour of the kitchen /dining area where guests can freely help themselves to Tea and Coffee and gorgeous snacks. Paulo even gave us some advice with directions and recommendations for tours and places to visit/and to dine - trust him as we did and had a great time. We had a corner room with a wrap around balcony overlooking the courtyard, it was so peaceful, heaven. The whole space including the room is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean too, there’s a little fridge under the desk and flatscreen TV on the wall.The bed is big and super comfortable, with lovely linen. There are shutters on the windows that help keep out any light and keep the room cool, the air conditioning was very welcomed too.The bathroom had plenty of space and was light and airy, with a large walk in shower.Paulo is super friendly - as his cleaning team are too how come daily - and there is nothing he won’t do to make sure you have a wonderful time in Rome and a fabulous stay in his hotel.Thank you and we’ll certainly be back as we really did feel At Home!
