Location

This hotel enjoys a stunning location on Lake Esperanza in the Bay of Alcúdia, just 150 m from the magnificent sandy beach. It takes just a few minutes to reach the centre of Alcúdia with its scores of shops and other entertainment venues. S'Albufeira nature reserve is approximately 2 km away and it is 3 km to the harbour. In addition, there is a bus stop close to the hotel.

Facility

The hotel was modernised in 2025. Units include 161 apartments and 67 studios located in a 5-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a TV room, a car hire service, medical assistance, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry are available. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to surf the internet and catch up on email. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service (for a fee). Bicycle storage is also available for no extra charge.

Rooms

Air conditioning (no extra charge) and adjustable central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Some rooms have a balcony, which gives guests additional space for rest and relaxation. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms can be booked. For the littlest travellers, children's beds can be provided at no extra charge. A safe and a desk are also available. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. Equipped with a direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge), the rooms provide many ways for guests to stay connected and entertained. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a whirlpool bath, as well as a hairdryer. 8 wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of refreshing drinks await guests at the pool bar. The hotel offers an extensive outdoor sport and leisure programme, which includes bocce and archery. For a fee, guests can also enjoy cycling/mountain biking and horse riding. Water sports offered include aquafit, and diving is available for a fee. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, darts and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards. Guests can relax and unwind in the wellness area (massage treatments). Third-party operators offer massage treatments. Leisure facilities include a kids' club, a kids' disco and live music.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. Guests can dine at the restaurant (non-smoking, à la carte, air conditioning and high chairs). Catering options include bed and breakfast and all-inclusive. Special extras await all-inclusive holidaymakers, such as alcoholic beverages and snacks, for example. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. Non-alcoholic beverages and international brands are included in the price.

    We had a lovely time at Eden Lago, the refurbed pool areas are really lovely, everything very clean, staff all very friendly. Unfortunately our daughter got an ear infection and the staff were helpful in getting us a Dr and also checking in on how she is. She also got given some toys which cheered her up! Service at the bar in evening could have been quicker and think a few extra staff needed at peak times (queues were large and could take 30 mins to get a drink)! Kids enjoyed various activities and particularly the water mat. Food in buffet was nice, always varied choices. Johanna at pool bar was also great! Beach only a few mins away and is very nice, lots of sun beds available.

    We have just returned from an incredible stay. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Daniel at the selection club desk with snacks, cold drinks and a warm welcome. We chose a royal terrace apartment and were very pleased we did! The views were incredible and very well equipped The area has everything needed and lots locally

    We had a great experience in the viva lago hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, big variety of food, awesome pool for kids and lots of entertainment to keep you busy. Team is friendly and attentive, the beach 2 minutes away is stunning. Overall a great experience.

    5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another Flawless Viva Holiday – A Real 4-Star Gem in Alcudia!

    After an amazing stay at Viva Cala Mesquida in 2022, we wanted to return to the Viva family but look for a location that didn’t strictly require a car. We love Alcudia for its perfect, bustling resort feel, the beautiful old town and harbour, and those legendary family-friendly beaches where the water stays shallow for tens of metres—making it incredibly safe for the kids and relaxing for us parents.We opted for Eden Lago and got such an incredible deal that I was initially worried there must be a catch. I needn't have worried at all! While the hotel officially holds a 4-star rating, we truly had a 5-star holiday. We usually like trying new places every year, but I would 100% return here next year in a heartbeat!The Rooms & Setup:We travelled as a large family with four children, including baby twins. The hotel and the local taxis were incredibly accommodating with our size. We booked two apartments which worked perfectly for us. They overlooked the water and, despite being near the lake, we had zero issues with mosquitoes (though we did bring spray and candles just in case, which probably helped!).The Food & Hardworking Staff:Even though the hotel only has one main restaurant, the food never got boring. In fact, it was absolutely incredible and honestly among the best hotel food I’ve ever had—we never got fed up with it despite eating there 9 out of our 10 nights! What really sets Eden Lago apart, though, is the staff. Every single person works tirelessly and always with a smile. A massive shoutout to Esteve in the sports bar, Paula/Paulina, Rosa, the fantastic cleaning team, the chefs, and the extra-helpful restaurant staff. They are all amazing.Pools & Kids' Activities:The hotel pools are excellent and offer a great variety: a dedicated kids' pool and splash pool, a proper swimming pool, and a hot tub. A huge bonus was that the main pool stayed warm even when the weather was a bit cooler during our first few days. The entertainment team is great too; the kids went to the kids' club, painted T-shirts, and we even climbed the hill/mountain opposite the hotel with Rosa and the team. That said, our kids were also just perfectly content making friends and splashing around all day.Location & Local Hidden Gems:While the harbour is a bit of a walk down the main road with a pram, we actually really enjoyed the stroll up there, and there is a great beach nearby. If you are looking for tips outside the hotel, we found two great spots:To the Left: There is a lovely little deli just a short walk out of the hotel, which is perfect if you are on Half Board and want a light change of scenery for lunch.To the Right: Walk about 10 minutes and you’ll find a fantastic Super Mario soft play area. It feels like a total hidden gem—our kids were obsessed and begged to go three nights running! It’s brilliant for the children, and adults can sit back and get drinks too.Overall, we had an absolutely amazing stay and made our second set of incredible family memories with Viva hotels. We highly recommend it!     Stayed here with my partner and two boys. Stayed here for 7 days food is buffet so just as good as any buffet, food from the snack bar is good. Spent most of our time at the pool with the bouncy pillow in for the kids. So spent alot of time at that pool bar getting served by jhoanna. Unbelievable service from jhonanna very polite and friendly. She couldnt do enough for us. Really good service with a smile.
