  Nice hotel with lovely surroundings. Good hiking trails. May require a car or taxis to travel further. Good facilities. Room was spacious with a partial sea view balcony. The rooms weren’t totally clean. Had a problem with door lock but staff were prompt on fixing. Food was mediocre. Staff were pleasant.

  The hotel itself is vast was basic with poor quality fixtures and fittings dominating large empty spacesWe booked a Superior Room with sea view The room was spacious and bright but it only had a lateral view when leaning over the balcony, and the view was of the pool. The male receptionist was very unhelpful and rude when challenged on thisThe heated indoor pool, was cold as was the jacuzzi, and rarely used. The area itself was functional at best The dining room was canteen like, with vast amounts of food of variable quality The reception area was huge and like a hospital waiting room, not a good start to our visit.The ground floor has a number of huge empty shops,.left without any attempt to make the area more pleasing to the eye The outdoor spaces were ok, but packed any attempt to decorate with planting or other character features.

  Beautiful location, but maybe not be back

  This has been a favourite of ours for years. Got to be honest, may not be going back as although the staff are efficient enough, not sure I saw a smile from 90% of them while there.

  Interesting hotel. Large empty spaces which reflected the lack of personality in both the staff and the building.Sea view was only just visible.Taxi to town which was just shops filled with market stall goods.Cleanliness was ad hoc. Our room phone and tv remote were filthy. Won’t be returning

  Royal Palm is a TUI hotel that is mainly visited by German tourists. The hotel appears clean and well-maintained, with a functional layout, although it lacks a bit of character and style and can feel somewhat reminiscent of a large 1980s hotel.The rooms, however, are very spacious and comfortable, as are the bathrooms. Each room also has a large balcony, which we really appreciated. The small fridge and water kettle in the room were convenient extras.The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices and was served until 10:30 a.m., which was very convenient. We did not try lunch or dinner at the hotel, as we had read mixed reviews beforehand. Instead, we often ate during our day trips or went to Morro Jable, where there are many good restaurants to choose from.The road leading to the hotel is in rather poor condition and has many potholes, so it’s best to drive carefully, especially during the last 500 meters. We also found that it was not always easy to find a parking spot directly in front of the hotel.Check-in was quick and efficient. Our first room was located next to the elevators, which we didn’t prefer, but the staff kindly arranged a room change for us without any problems.Overall, we had a comfortable stay and appreciated the spacious rooms and the helpful staff.
