Facility

Units include 241 apartments located in a 4-storey main building and 4 auxiliary buildings. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to surf the internet and catch up on email. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and 8 lifts. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Guests in search of the perfect souvenir are sure to find it in the gift shop. Rooms

Subject to charge: massage treatments. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. Warm hospitality and a cosy atmosphere await guests in 2 non-smoking restaurants. Catering options include half board and all-inclusive. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, children's meals and lactose-free food can be prepared on request.     Good hotel with a few small complaints

    Overall we had a good time but a few things made it a 4 star review instead of a 5.Rooms nice and clean. Nice big balcony.Food was hit and miss not as much choice as some other hotels we've stayed in in majorca. I liked the omlettes at breakfast. The a la carte was a let down wouldn't recommend.Pools were nice and sun beds wasn't too hard to get. Only thing was by the quieter pool with beds there is uneven flooring, i fell, cut my knee and twisted my ankle, had a limp for a couple days. Someone else in our family almost fell at the same spot a few days later so be careful.Alcoholic drinks were hit and miss I ordered aperol spritz a few times and it tasted terrible so couldn't drink it. The cava was bad too! Entertainment not bad, our 7 year old liked the mini disco. The sound system was really bad one night I felt sorry for the singer! Overall we had a nice stay.

    We had a really lovely stay at Zafiro Palmanova and overall had a great holiday. The hotel was very clean, the atmosphere was friendly, and the facilities were perfect for families.A special mention has to go to the pool lifeguards, especially Gustavo. He was absolutely amazing with our son and went above and beyond every single day. He always made such a fuss of him, was so friendly and kind, and would often bring him sweets and fruit whenever he saw him. Little touches like that really made our holiday extra special and are something we will always remember.A very special mention to Gustavo, one of the pool lifeguards. Staff like Gustavo are a real credit to the hotel.The rooms were nice and clean overall, although the room cleaning could have been a little better at times.The only main thing we felt was missing was a snack bar. When you have children spending all day around the pool, it would have been really helpful to have somewhere to grab quick snacks or light bites without needing to go into the restaurant each time.Another point worth mentioning is that there was only one outside bar serving drinks. Even though we visited during a quieter period, there were still queues at times with only one member of staff serving. During busier holiday periods, I can imagine this becoming quite frustrating for guests. We feel the hotel would really benefit from having an additional outside bar or more staff serving during peak times.Overall though, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so enjoyable.

    We visited with 2 children, 10 month old and 3 year old and it was perfect for them. We had the own bedroom penthouse suite which was plenty of space. The children’s pools were fantastic, plenty of sun loungers and entertainment in the evening. Mini disco every night was a treat for the toddler. There’s a soft play area next to the buffet restaurant which is fantastic to let kids play whilst you finish your meals. Outdoor play area was awesome as well plenty to do and the added bonus of a bouncy castlePlenty of food options for all inclusive! Only minor cons; the children’s pools were freezing and the heated pool was just a normal pool which meant it was full of kids. Can’t be managed as the air temperature wasn’t quite warm enough to heat the children’s pools but everyone was cold getting out. Pool bar was majority of the time long queues as only one member of staff serving and no self serve drinks areas. The à la carte restaurant being the same section as the buffet was a little odd indeed but we enjoyed our meal. Every single waiting staff/ lifeguard/ cleaner is SO FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. Make sure a fuss of the children and ourselves too. We met so many nice families and children and everyone said the same about returning. Zafiro you were a blast. Overall we had the best week and I’d say we will be returning. X

    I've been to the same place for the last 11 years. So it was a real change for us to go somewhere different we are just set in our ways...it was our 20th wedding anniversary and we picked the Zafiro and what a lovely treat it was. I've never seen such a clean hotel our room was spotless the bathroom was amazing loved it and a plug too in it....we booked a penthouse suite and it was just lovely the jacuzzi was so nice and relaxing...the pools where all lovely very cold but there was one slightly heated which was nice..the wrist band was handy it done everything letting u into ur room and paying for stuff as wee where self catering....I'd say it was more geared for all inclusive but it wouldn't suit us...we did eat in the hotel one evening it was a buffer and they had lots to offer it's not 5* dining but definitely decent....the facilities for kids here is amazing so busy with kids that didn't bother us it was a nice buzz. The hotel is just across the road from a few steps that takes u to the beach plus a 10 min walk from Magaluf so u have the best of both worlds....if u are staying self catering there is an aldi a few mins walk away so it's very handy....the evening entertainment seemed to be good enough we could see it from our balcony and the kids seem to enjoy it....would definitely stay again if I got a good deal...palmanova is lovely
