    Great hotel close to the beach. Breakfast is terrific. Great staff professional and friendly. Awesome historical building. They need to replace pillows they are awful …book room with the sea view and balcony!     The Gran Hotel Miramar is grand indeed. A lot of Malaga isn't much to look at, but the hotel is beautiful. Every aspect of our stay was perfect, with friendly and very helpful staff. It's plainly a "happy ship". A gardener with no English dashed over to show us how to use our room card to get out of one of the hotel guests only exits to get to the beach.Breakfast was excellent and the inclusion of an HP sauce bottle shows they're keen to cater for British guests. We had one dinner on the hotel terrace. This was excellent too and with rather good guitar playing instead of recorded musak.     Wonderful hotel with great hospitality.

    Stunning waterfront hotel, grand but not stuffy, and the location on La Caleta is perfect — quiet yet minutes from the old town.Every member of the staff was wonderful — warm, cheerful, genuinely happy to help. Check-in was smooth, the room was comfortable and spotless, and the terrace by the sea at sunset is something else. We had both lunch and dinner at the hotel, both food and service were excellent. We were sitting at the terrace for dinner and were expecting a romantic dinner with soft music as reviews suggested. Unfortunately, there was a rehearsal for their centennial celebration event and the music was quite loud and disturbing. Another downside: the pool sits right next to a major road, so you hear constant traffic while swimming. Not the tranquil poolside experience the photos suggest.Still, easily the best night of our 12-day trip through Andalusia. Highly recommended.     The most perfect hotel in Malaga . Exceptional service ahd experience from start to finish . It’s within walking distance into the town with having the luxury of all the hotel amenities within the hotel .Beautiful pool bar / restaurant, gorgeous restaurant and lovely roof top bar .Rooms were beautiful with everything.     I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent stay. Unfortunately, the services and accommodations we received fell well below what was advertised and what we expected from a five-star hotel.One of the most significant issues was the quality of the sleeping accommodations. Both mattresses in our room had deep indentations and sloped noticeably to one side, making it extremely difficult to get a proper night's sleep. After enduring almost a week of discomfort, we requested that both mattresses be replaced.In addition, our room package included coffee service, yet we had to repeatedly request coffee because it was not consistently replenished as promised.Although our room was advertised as garden-facing, the balcony was very small and cramped. Each time we opened the balcony door, numerous mosquitoes flew into the room, making it unpleasant to enjoy the outdoor space.We also experienced ongoing problems with our room keys. On multiple occasions, neither key would unlock our door, requiring repeated trips to the front desk to have new keys issued. This was both inconvenient and frustrating.Overall, these repeated issues significantly affected the quality of our stay and did not reflect the level of service or accommodations expected from a five-star hotel. We paid for a premium experience but did not receive the standard of comfort, service, and attention that was promised.
