Location

Numerous places of interest, such as Spain's oldest bull fighting ring or the Puente Nuevo Bridge, can be reached easily and quickly from the hotel. The town centre, with its vast array of shopping facilities and entertainment venues such as restaurants and bars, is located just 500 m from the complex. There is a public transport stop some 300 metres away. Malaga Airport is about 90 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1906. The hotel has junior suites, 3 suites, 8 single rooms and 80 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Such an amazing hotel from start to finish, excellent service from all staff especially front of house and bar staff. Excellent food in the bar terrace and would 100% make an effort to return to this hotel given our experience and the amazing views from the hotel over the valley. Thank you to everyone who works at this hotel. The corner balcony rooms offer amazing views but can get a bit windy due to location, would stay in a more central room if returning.     Magical serenity

    The Catalonia Reina Victoria is a haven of peace. A mere stone away from the busy part of Ronda, the location is incredible with stunning views over the sierras ... it is kind of magical when the sun goes down. While the weather was not really kind and did not allow to make use of the outdoor pool, I enjoyed the spa facilities and the to-die-for massages (thank you Mariam and Gema !). Traveling solo on this occasion, I went twice to Hazarah restaurant ... the food is both delicious and creative combining tradition with a modern twist. Thank you David for the attentive service and great recos. As I am writing this review, I am sipping a cup of coffee and enjoying the serenity of the terrace .. on a crispy sunny morning.     The hotel is well situated about 5 mins walk from the Puente Nuevo. Very well presented and rooms immaculately clean. The views are spectacular. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot speak of that.Unfortunately there were some issues. The airconditioning was faulty and we had to sleep with the doors open, consequently the barking dogs in the vicinity kept my wife awake. The plumbing is very noisy and the sound of rushing water in the early morning from adjoining rooms awoke both of us. The sounds of other guests talking and moving around was very evident. Reception and housekeeping were first class.     Stunning views

    Our only regret with this hotel was that we couldn’t stay longer. The sun was shining on arrival such that what is already an impressive view over the valley was breathtaking. We spent 2 nights in a junior suite with our little one. The room was spacious. Finally a hotel that hasn’t felt the need to litter every corner with a piece of furniture, immaculately cleaned and with a very comfortable bed. I get the impression the hotel was reasonably full, yet our stay was so peaceful. We had lunch on the terrace with this spectacular view behind us. The menu had less local food than perhaps we would have preferred but none the less it was all cooked very well. The pool and poolside area was just what is needed for a hotel its size and again the view from the pool is top notch. We had relatively little engagement with staff which I guess is a good thing, but wherever we needed them they were there and incredibly polite.
