    Another great stay at the Guadalmedina

    Great location. Walkable into centre but some good bars around the hotel that are off the tourist trail. Lovely staff. Rooms are a great size. Bed enormous and very comfortable. Good hot shower. Accessible by train from airport. Only a few steps from Malaga Centro Alameda and only costs €1.60 single trip. We stay here regularly and will continue to do so.

    Good location and very clean . Staff were not very helpful on reception , seemed like we were a nuisance . Bathroom for a disabled person was extremely slippy and even after being given a small plastic mat it was like an ice rink . Also no water in rooms unless you pay for it so I wouldn’t call this 4star

    Very clean, nice stuff, good location (if you are planning to get on bus/train, best choice), without noise from outside, 15 min walk to center. Rooms are big enough, great value, amenities could be better.

    We booked Malaga purely to enjoy the Easter parades and we couldn’t have picked a better Hotel for this. We took the train from the airport which goes right into Malaga ( the last stop so you can’t go wrong ) out of the station turn right and walk across the road the hotel is literally 2 mins walk from the station. We asked for a high room in quiet area of the hotel which is exactly what we got. Room 514. We were a little disappointed as the windows in the room are covered so you have no natural light or view ( the staff very kindly offered to move us but for the short time we were there we didn’t bother ) the rooms are spacious and spotless, the whole hotel is actually spotless and smells amazing in all areas. We had breakfast which was continental and there was everything there you needed, very clean in the dining room. We had a pack up the last morning as we were leaving early. I’m not sure what we were expecting but I’m happy to say ( apart from having to take out the liquids ) everyone on our flight was a little envious ! Absolutely spot on breakfast and couldn’t have asked for better, thank you for that. There is a short walk over the bridge into the city but only about 5 minutes and it was nice given the noise of the celebrations to just be a little away from it at the end of the night. I would say if you are looking for a traditional hotel this is not it ( it’s more like a business hotel ) but the staff are an absolute credit to it and we couldn’t fault it
