    Easter Stay

    rating03 Apr 2026

We booked Malaga purely to enjoy the Easter parades and we couldn’t have picked a better Hotel for this. We took the train from the airport which goes right into Malaga ( the last stop so you can’t go wrong ) out of the station turn right and walk across the road the hotel is literally 2 mins walk from the station. We asked for a high room in quiet area of the hotel which is exactly what we got. Room 514. We were a little disappointed as the windows in the room are covered so you have no natural light or view ( the staff very kindly offered to move us but for the short time we were there we didn’t bother ) the rooms are spacious and spotless, the whole hotel is actually spotless and smells amazing in all areas. We had breakfast which was continental and there was everything there you needed, very clean in the dining room. We had a pack up the last morning as we were leaving early. I’m not sure what we were expecting but I’m happy to say ( apart from having to take out the liquids ) everyone on our flight was a little envious ! Absolutely spot on breakfast and couldn’t have asked for better, thank you for that. There is a short walk over the bridge into the city but only about 5 minutes and it was nice given the noise of the celebrations to just be a little away from it at the end of the night. I would say if you are looking for a traditional hotel this is not it ( it’s more like a business hotel ) but the staff are an absolute credit to it and we couldn’t fault it

Just had a lovely break here, spotless rooms and friendly staff make it an ideal choice as only a few steps from Alameda train stop and minutes to the old town.

Excellent hotel in a convenient location.

This hotel is in a very convenient location just a few yards from the station for the train from the airport. The historic centre is within walking distance – or you can catch the #1 or #3 bus. There are numerous bars, restaurants and shops close by and the Corte Ingles department store is about 300 metres away.We took a junior suite which gave us a bedroom, a separate lounge and a bathroom. All are generously sized. The bedroom has plenty of storage – and plenty of coat hangers. The bed is comfortable. The bedroom also has a safe and a minibar. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower and a separate shower, plus two wash basins. All was kept very clean. The lounge has a settee and an easy chair plus a coffee table. There was a Nespresso machine with pods in the lounge and a kettle with tea bags in bedroom. You'll have to supply your own milk, but there are a MAS supermarket and a Carrefour Express nearby. We arrived late but managed to get milk in the Carrefour Express which is open every day until 1:00am. Our room was very quiet. The weather was cold and wet but the aircon worked well in heat mode. There are TVs in the lounge and bedroom with mainly Spanish stations although you can watch the news in English or French.Reception staff are helpful and polite and speak good English. There are two lounge areas with plenty of seating. One lounge has complimentary tea and coffee – although no milk for the tea.The breakfast room is large and has a varied buffet. Hot food is bacon, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, baked beans and little sausages. There is a selection of fresh fruit, cereals, cold cuts and cheese along with tomatoes, cucumber, raw carrot and beans. There are also plenty of cakes and croissants, a selection of bread and rolls and the means to toast them. Coffee is from a machine although dairy and non-dairy milks plus a microwave oven are available. I did manage to make porridge one morning using the supplied oats and the microwave – although it does tend to get a bit crowded at that part of the servery. The hotel doesn't supply other meals but just around the corner are restaurants and tapas bars. Book in advance if you want to eat at the weekend or on Friday night.
