Modern Hotel in new Part of Ronda

Hotel Maestranza is located in the newer part of town of Ronda, opposite the bullring. It has indoor valet parking, which is the main reason we chose this hotel as we had a car. The staff is very kind and accommodating. The rooms are nice, large and well organized, the bed comfortable with a large bath. The hotel consists of 2 buildings side by side and getting up to your floor may be confusing because of the 2 different lifts. Our room faced the back of the hotel which tended to be a bit noisy in the evenings as it overlooked a small alley close to a larger plaza filled with restaurants. The downstairs of the hotel looked dated with older furniture. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but opted to have breakfast at local cafes instead. Walking distance to the bridge overlooking the gorge and easy access to other sights and restaurants. Easy in/out parking priviledges.

Two nights here and it was the typical four star hotel in many ways at first glance. Two problems made it not so enjoyable for us.Firstly we had the room furthest away from the lift. This meant the long corridors we had to walk down also had a steep incline. I assume this was because at some point two houses knocked together had different floor levels.'Secondly the aircon was not adequate to keep the room cold in the sun of the day. We did mention this to Reception but it had no effect.

Stayed here recently. Great hotel in really good location. Really close to town centre, bridge and bullring and 5 minutes walk fromBus station. Room was good size and spotlessly clean. Nice fresh produce at breakfast. HotelReceptionist spoke good English and was very friendly. Would recommend. Good value for money. Lovely stay in the centre of Ronda.

This hotel is in the centre of Ronda, from there you can walk everywhere. We had a double room which was a good size room and a lovely bathroom. They were both spotless. The hotel has a private parking, which we used as there’s nowhere to park unless you’re a resident. The staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, thank you. Good hotel near to the town.

Very nice. Large clean room which was comfortable & suited our needs for a one night stay very well. A stone throw from the bull ring & easy to find. They have their own underground parking (payable extra) but it was full when we arrived. But could drop luggage off outside. However, it’s possible to park free on the street if you don’t mind a short walk just away from the main town centre. Otherwise other payable public parking available. Nicely located & everything easy walking distance. Including the famous bridge and the old town on the other side.
