  This motel is an a perfect location in the Marina district walkable to everything you need in San Fran and accessible to public transit otherwise. The motel is kept clean and the staff replenish towels etc quickly.That is pretty much the end of the pros. The beds/pillows are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The “to go” breakfast is toast and cereal which isn’t a great grab and go option and ends up with 10+ guests crammed in a hallway eating (no tables). The blinds don’t block light. Overall if this place committed to some necessary changes (bed toppers/pillows/improved breakfast/blinds) it could really be a star. It just isn’t quite there (even for the price).

  Very good experience. It’s such a convenient location and with free parking, we were hoping for the best. The hotel delivered. Our room was nice and well maintained. The breakfast was basic with no gluten free options, so I had to get my own, which was one disappointment, but I expected it and was prepared. The woman who manages the hotel, sorry I forgot her name, was very nice and friendly. We would definitely stay again on a future trip.

  Great family stay in San Francisco

  We had a great stay at Motel Capri during our recent family stay in San Francisco. Their family led business model, very flexibile and accomodating, really made our stay very nice and pleasant. The central and strategic location couldn't be better as everything is just a few minutes away by car or uber/lyft.The rooms are also very nicely decorated and the complimentary breakfast is a great bonus too.Highly recommended!!!

  I wanted to love this motel but the accommodations were the worst I’ve ever experienced…(I’ve traveled to different western states & stayed at at least 10 different motels, so far!) The four pillow sizes were as small as children’s pillows, but we did get a king size bed, thank you very much for that! The complimentary breakfast was the WORST I’ve ever had, come on people, it’s not so hard to add some fruit & a waffle maker,& how about some seating area, right there, so the travelers actually, ENJOY the stay!? What really puzzled us was the fact that the towels were gone & were NOT replaced. I mean, isn’t it logical to bring fresh set of towels?!?!? Had to call the front desk for that one…Finally, No fan in the bathroom, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The location was certainly, great, easy to get to places by foot.Pretty bad experience, thank you for that, next time we’ll know where NOT to stay..!
