This elegant hotel was constructed more than 100 years ago but was totally renovated in 1999. The building reflects the taste and character of the decade it was built in. It is 500 m from the city centre.

The hotel was built in 1902. The hotel has 23 rooms, including single rooms and 22 double rooms, which are located on 23 storeys and are reachable by lift.     We were two cyclists staying here for one night. The receptionist was very preoccupied and rushed out check in and never had time for us. Dinner was expensive and not substancial. This place was a disappointment. Unfortunately, I am not sure there are too many other options?

    A lovely hotel in a beautiful village. Comfortable bed, very clean room and hotel areas. staff very helpful and friendly. beds changed each day and room cleaned and straightened. continental breakfast was available on request and it was fresh and well prepared. everything was great about this hotel.

    Building is beautiful old house. Room was spacious and clean. Heating was on so we injoyed warm atmosphere right from the start. Buffet breakfast was just what we expected, maybe a bit better. Service was very friendly. Stayed 3 nights as we had daily hikings in Sierra de las Nieves. There is no parking by the hotel, but you can stop for a while to unload luggages. If you get hungry between 16 to 20 o'clock you will be in trouble as all restaurants have kitchen shut down during that time.     We had a lovely evening in this simple but friendly hotel. The receptionist/ waitress/ porter was helpful and efficient and the village was perfect for a sunny evening walk before dinner. We took advantage of the fixed tapas menu, as recommended. For €12 we enjoyed 6 tapas, including meat, fish and cheese. The local wine was very pleasant too. We slept really well in a lovely bedroom with high wooden eaves, a a balcony and an en suite bathroom. All of this as part of a Groupon deal, including two tickets for El Caminito del Rey, (our reason for going), for around €50 for both of us. P.S. Don't miss El Caminito! About an hour's drive away!
