  Worst accomodation for us since now

  The apartment is centrally located, close to restaurants, and reasonably spacious. Unfortunately, these were the only two positive aspects of our stay. Upon arrival, the apartment had a strong smell of burnt wood and the air felt quite suffocating. No basic amenities were provided, such as shower gel, shampoo, or kitchen paper towels. I informed the host that the kitchen cloth was very dirty and had an unpleasant odor, and they subsequently brought us a new one.The small room contains a single bed with an uncomfortable mattress, and the balconies are nonexistent, unlike what is shown in the photos on various booking websites. Although the apartment was not fully clean when we arrived — we found a fake nail on the floor and a considerable amount of dust under the beds and on top of the cupboards — the host requested that on the last day we take out the trash ourselves (despite the bathroom not having a bag for the small bin next to the toilet, which forced us to empty it in an area where previous guests had left their rubbish) and wash the dishes, leaving the apartment in the same condition in which we found it. This seemed unreasonable, especially since the dishes we found in the drawers were already quite dirty.The host also asked us for a deposit upon arrival, despite the fact that it is not legal to leave card details written on a sheet of paper inside the apartment. We have traveled extensively, but we have never encountered such conditions. We will certainly not return.

  The apartment is good, and the host is bad

  I had the opportunity to stay at this apartment during 3 years (from 2021 Covid time they were giving long-term rent), and my experience was one of contrasts. The apartment itself was, without a doubt, really nice. However, my enthusiasm for the apartment was significantly dampened by the landlord when the first time 2 years ago, they tried to make us move out (it was illegal from their side, because in Spain we can extend the contract up to 5 years with the same price - it could be raised only for a few % because of inflation). The second time it was now when we moved out after 3 years of living there and they just took away our deposit without any notice, only after several time of contacting them they sent some pictures of "damages" which were not found in our presence during the check out and they told us that they will cover everything by taking our deposit. When I disagree with majority of "damages" they just ignored me.In addition, there was always an issue with other guests, a lot of cases with screaming, knocking our door at night or early morning, very inappropriate behaviour and we should have to submit those cases each to the head office to make the guests calm down. One time it was even required to call the Police. And for all of this uncomfortable situation the host just kept our deposit in such an insolent way.I am not sure that they doing so deep check after each guest, so it felt like some kind of "special attention particularly for our case". Advice you to check for any "damage" even if the white wall is not so white anymore.That is why it is 2 out of 5.

  Located very good easy access to the beach and Malaga centro and airport and outlet. Big enough but it is empty of most of things such as garbage bag or tissues or washing machine liquid. Supermarket is close to the property. No cleaning. Restaurant downstairs is good.

  BE AWARE of the misrepresentation if booking a penthouse apartment.

  As with a lot of other people (please check reviews here and on other sites) we did not get the "Penthouse apartment with terrace and sun loungers" that we expected and as is used as the "lead photograph" on multiple hotel booking websitesAs with many other people what we actually got was a top floor room with a "balcony" and no sun loungers as there was no room for them.I have said this on another review that if you reply to an advert for a car and it show photos of a "Bentley" you do not expect to get a "Skoda" and to use the argument that it is a car and we have given you one with four wheels is absolute nonsense.Gross misrepresentation has no place in this industry and I believe integrity and reputation is worth more than profit. It now appears you can only secure the real "Penthouse apartments with a terrace and sun loungers" if you book direct with the property, again why use these photographs if it is misleading, PLEASE BE HONEST, you know you are misleading your guests as I am not the first to complain about this practice with these "Penthouse" rooms. (check out another review on this site from "stonelaw81"My whole purpose of wanting to secure a "Penthouse apartments with a terrace and sun loungers" during these strange times of the COVID-19 outbreak was to limit contact at the beach or even at a large hotel with a swimming pool, we wanted to be able to use these facilities to feel safer and just to relax on our visit to Malaga, however this was not achieved.Take a look at the photos and guess what we were allocated as opposed to what we thought we were booking...BEWARE of this misrepresentation and once again I would implore these apartments to be honest and not to mislead their guest and in doing so spoil their holiday.

  A great location for a city break

  More than adequate comfortable accommodation for our Malaga city break. Clean throughout. A comprehensive kitchen will all that you need. Not a huge space, but you don't expect to spend too much time in anyway. Our balcony was a bonus and a sun trap. A pleasant welcome from the rep when we arrived.
