Location

This design hotel is located at the heart of Málaga's tourist centre. It is situated close to the harbour and the old town centre, from here it is only a 10-minute walk to the Picasso museum and a couple of blocks to Calle Marqués de Larios. The Cervantes Theatre is around 10 min away, the Botanic Gardens are a 25-minute walk away and the airport lies around 12 km away.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 4-storey building with a lift and 50 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     On arrival we were upgraded to a junior suite. The room was stunning and the air-conditioning was great. The bed was so comfy we laid in most mornings. The room was 201. The room was next to the lift, we did not hear the lift at all and we were grateful for the upgrade. The breakfast in the morning was really nice and a shout out to the man who clears the tables and puts the food out, he is very efficient and friendly. The hotel is in the old town and everything is close by. There are many nice bars in the same street at the hotel. In the evenings we used the hotels roof top bar fir a night cap before bed. The staff up there are nice friendly and efficient, at night it is stunning with lights and the prices are reasonable.     I stayed in the Mariposa Hotel for two nights. The location was perfect for the Picasso Museum and the Cathedral. The room was big and the bed comfortable. The hotel is charming with eclectic art. The breakfast has many choices. I was very happy with the hotel and I felt safe there.
