This design hotel is located at the heart of Málaga's tourist centre. It is situated close to the harbour and the old town centre, from here it is only a 10-minute walk to the Picasso museum and a couple of blocks to Calle Marqués de Larios. The Cervantes Theatre is around 10 min away, the Botanic Gardens are a 25-minute walk away and the airport lies around 12 km away.

The hotel welcomes guests in a 4-storey building with a lift and 50 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     The Hotel Mariposa in Malaga is ideally sited in a boho artsy part of the city, with local individual well priced good restaurants on the doorstep of the pedestrian street. It is an easy walk to all the main galleries and museums and other attractions and also to stroll along the marina. It's also under a 15 minute walk to the main railway station, Maria Zambrano. Staff are professional and friendly. Our room was at the front on the second floor (visible on the photo) and was quiet, well appointed, extremely clean, with a mini bar, safe, and ample storage. The air conditioning was excellent and the beds extremely good. The bathroom was equally well appointed. We overcame the lack of a fan by keeping the door open while taking a shower. Lifts worked quickly (there are stairs) and the roof top bar was super. Breakfast was high quality with a good buffet menu. We had a very early morning departure and were delighted that the reception staff gave us a small bag of breakfast goodies to take with us: a lovely gesture.     We had a very pleasant stay at Mariposa for 10 nights. We had the adapted room and we were with 2 manual wheelchairs. There is enough room around the beds to get around with the wheelchairs. The bathroom has an adapted chair in the shower and the toilet has good grab bars to support people with reduced mobility. The bathroom is wheelchair accessible .Staff is friendly and helpful.The location is perfect, even if you are traveling with a wheelchair. There a plenty af restaurants in the same pedestrian street as the hotel and the historic center is at a 5-10 minute walk/ wheelchair ride away on flat terrain with modern pavement. The cross-over to Calle Larios is safe with a crosswalk and traffic lights with a timer.Back at the hotel after a busy day, there is a nice rooftop bar, accessible by elevator .     Fantastic location, lovely modern and clean hotel with amazing staff

    Location was in Soho a 5 minute walk fromHistorical Malaga but plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The room was more spacious than the photos with all the facilities you need. Clean modern hotel with very friendly staff. The room was quiet and the beds were very comfy.
