  Lovely hotel with delightful staff

  This is a lovely friendly hotel in a good location. On arrival, they wrote our names on the wardrobe door and a little handwritten letter apologising for the overcast skies! Nice touch! Rooms and hotel is nicely decorated, beds comfortable. Good WiFi. Breakfast is interesting: small dining area so you plan ahead but you order from a menu and it's nicely put together, thoughtful and tasty. No tea and coffee facilities in the room, instead you get it at reception. Nice sun terrace. They also store luggage for a fee, and free for guests. Highly recommended.   Excellent place for a short stay

  A great little hotel and a long-time fave - we’ve been staying here about annually for 15 years or so. Great location, quirky and striking decor, comfort, and very friendly staff. Ideal for a short stay in Malaga - & consider booking a room looking into the internal courtyard if you want a quieter night - though we also love the ambience of Calle Alamos, which the hotel fronts onto Hotel Del Pintor, Director General at Hotel Del Pintor, responded to this review What a joy to read such a long-standing affection for our little corner of Málaga 😊Fifteen years coming back is not just loyalty… it’s a love story with a hotel.   A perfect venue for a Malaga mini break!

  The apartment we stayed in was absolutely fantastic - stylish, spacious and very quiet. It was only a 3 minute walk from the hotel reception and we were given clear directions and access instructions for it on check in. The staff at the hotel reception couldn’t have been more approachable and helpful and the little coffee lounge there was great for breakfast, pastries and excellent coffee. We loved our stay in Malaga and would definitely stay here again.   Expensive but not worth the price

  The hotel is located in walking distance to the treasures of the city. It was pleasantly decorated. But this room was very expensive, so we had high expectations for luxury accommodations. In fact, the room was average. It was relatively small, the bathroom, although it had a bidet, was not well-appointed. The soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower kept falling off. The room faced a very noisy street, so we couldn't keep the window open (one of the windows was broken anyway). The thermostat did not work, so the room remained too warm. And there was a bad odor coming from the bathroom. The staff said it was because of the weather, but the weather was lovely and we found no other smelly bathrooms in Málaga. The staff tried to fix it with room freshener, but it didn't work. Not a great experience. If we had been informed at the time, we would have been more than happy to assist you immediately and ensure the room temperature was comfortable.About the shower gel and shampoo dispenser, this is also something we could have resolved straight away had it been reported during your stay. Our team is always available to fix any in-room issue as soon as we are notified.For future stays, we would also like to suggest requesting an interior room. These rooms are significantly quieter and are often preferred by guests looking for a more peaceful experience away from street noise.We are truly sorry that your stay was affected by these issues, and we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to explain.
