Just back from a second visit in 6 months to this amazing hotel. Both stays were in essence rooms with lovely extras such as pastries, drinks fruit etc Very clean and comfortable and stylish. Location is 10/10 but it’s the staff that make it stand out. Love the rooftop bar. Can’t wait to visit again. Thanks team ??

  Beautiful hotel , can't fault!

We had been in Malaga for 6 nights, staying in an apartment. We wanted to extend our stay and so booked last minute . We were thrilled to be given a complimentary upgrade to the most beautiful room with a stunning view overlooking Larios Ave. and with a direct view of beautiful Malaga Cathedral , the icing on the cake was the beautiful terrace. It was the perfect end to our stay in Malaga. The location couldn't really be more central , although Malaga is a very easy and pleasant city to walk around. The hotel staff are really lovely , so friendly and very efficient . We enjoyed pre and post dinner cocktails on the roof top bar and were surprised at how reasonably priced the drinks are for a hotel . I think the bar is open to non-residents and would recommend a visit for a drink in such a beautiful location , even if you don't stay at the hotel. However , I would highly recommend staying at this hotel - you won't be disappointed. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so memorable! Wonderful boutique hotel in an ideal location

  09 Oct 2026

The hotel is excellent in all respects- clean room, very nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner, with a view of the cathedral and distant mountains, and in an ideal location. It is a very short walk to the Atarazanas metro station, as well as to the cathedral, Picasso museum, Roman amphitheater and Moorish Alcazaba and castle. My wife and I opted for an Essence room, which had a balcony and access to beverages, sandwiches, pastries, fruit, yogurt etc throughout the day- even a nice Cava brut open and available for toasting the evening! We would definitely book an Essence room again for any future trip to Malaga.
