  Major Disappointment

  I booked this hotel with my family because I had an early flight out of Melilla airport and what a disappointment it was. I was greeted by an unfriendly lady who spoke only Spanish and tried to charge me for my kids even though the reservation was for two adults and two kids. She then gave me a “suite” on the 5th floor and I had to carry my family’s luggage between the 4th and 5th floors because the elevator only went up to 4th. The room had a king size bed and a sofa bed with no sheets or pillows. We had to make the kids’ bed with a comforter and a spare pillow ourselves. In the morning, before check out, an even grumpier male worker who also insisted on speaking only Spanish fussed about calling a taxi for us and seemed to delight in the fact that no one picked up when he finally called. I had to walk three blocks to flag one. He never bothered to say goodbye nor apologize for the inconvenience. Very disappointing indeed.

  Travelled to Melilla from Almeria by Ferry - 1 night 28.08.2018

  Stayed here 28.08.2018 - 68 euros no breakfast 2 people. Good price fro August ! Room ok, bathroom small but OK. Great location. Staff abrupt.... no smile but did their job. Room was Clean, Air con & TV worked.

  Weekend in Melilla

  Stayed in this hotel on 02.02.2018 for 2 nights with my Wife - was in room 108. Very clean room, room size was a little small but ok. Room had a TV and fridge, the heating was also good, as it was cold. Bathroom was also ok, loads of hot water and shower worked well. Wifi was ok - the hotel is right in the centre of Melilla so perfect for shops, bars, tapas etc. Maricarmen was working on Reception when we checked in, very fast and easy check in. I asked to check the room first, which they were happy to do. Breakfast was ok, the normal Spanish style, the lady working was a little slow bringing coffee as she was working in the restaurant and bar area. - We have a greta time in Melilla and we enjoyed the hotel. Excellent location.

  The hotel is OK. There are rooms with balconies, mine was without, facing some wall, it was quiet though. Wifi did not work, The refrigerator in the room was so loud that I had to switch it off at night. I did not try the breakfast as I left very early. I asked for a taxi at 6AM, it took some 10 minutes to get some taxi station to answer. It takes 5 minute by taxi to the airport. The airport in Melilla is closed for the night, not only the terminal, the gate to the territory is closed till 6:30. Nobody in the hotel told me about that, although I said the evening before that I plan to take a taxi at 6 AM to the airport. Otherwise it is Ok for a night stay.

  Well rated as 4 star hotel but actually 1 star. Tv doesn't work, wifi doesn't work, hotel staff kind but not bothered to act upon any complain. Water was dropping from ceiling but they did care. Rooms are extremely small and corridors are so narrow that couldn't roll even my trolley. Only best thing is "Very Centrally Located"
