Location

This hotel is located just 150 m from the beach and set on a cliff. Restaurants, bars, cafés and shopping venues are all located in the neighbourhood, and with the local public transport service, guests have easy access to Mahón and Ciudadela.

    The hotel is amazing: smoke-free, eco-friendly, with excellent food, good vegetarian options, super-friendly staff, spotlessly clean, shower with plenty of preassure and a courtesy room so you can freshen up before you leave. For gym enthusiasts, there’s also a good gym. 100% recommended.

    We didn’t stay at the hotel- but booked in the kayak tour. Fabulous morning trip to caves and Mitjana beach stop to swim. Two young guides were chatty and helpful. Beautiful trip- highly recommended.We hired paddle boards from them later in our stay. Great service, local knowledge and close to the beach.

    The hotel is very good. The food in the Oliva buffet restaurant (where smart shorts are fine at dinner) and The View (pool bar) is excellent. The staff throughout the hotel are really friendly. If half board you can swap dinner for lunch, which we did for two days, until we could get early reservations for dinner. (When you check in they ask what time you want to book dinner and in which restaurant.) The free water (water stations at floors 3 and 6) is great. It’s worth paying extra for a Panoramic Sea View room.At 8am there is yoga on Mon and Weds (1 hour) and Sat (2 hours), pilates on Tues (1 hour) and guided walks on Thurs and Fri (1 hour). In May the yoga is usually outside in a dedicated yoga space with a beautiful view over the bay. There is a kettle with tea, coffee and milk - which are replaced if you put the sachets and milk containers in the recycling bin so that the chambermaids notice them.There are good walks in both directions to pretty beaches. The resort of Cala Galdana is small and very pretty. You can get a bus to the lovely town of Ciutadella or to Ferreries (where you can climb up to The Hermitage - S’Ermita).
