    Fabulous stay

    rating11 Oct 2026

We had a fabulous stay at the Artiem Capri. The staff were very friendly and professional, the breakfast and snack bar were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and sauna. It was very well positioned to see the town and various sights and a good bse for our hiking holiday.

    Top drawer hotel in Mao

    rating10 Oct 2026

This is a genuinely exceptional hotel. It is close enough to the old town to get there in 10 minutes. The staff were uniformly lovely and the hotel has this brilliant ethos of an honour system on the ground floor in terms of refreshments. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and have never seen that outside of absurdly 'fancy' places. The room was excellent, well cleaned, a nice balcony and a remarkable amount of configuration to make is as eco friendly as possible. Night time was quiet, and I really feel like residents respected what the hotel was trying to do in terms of ethos. The pool looked lovely but I didn't have time to partake, but again great to have it. I will be coming back here, hopefully next year - it is exceptional value in terms of what you get - and how that is conveyed. Top marks to all who work there.

    A gem of a hotel

    rating06 Oct 2026

A fabulous discovery in Mao. This hotel is very centrally located and close to attractions, bus station and restaurants. A very comfortable stay with excellent breakfast choices; The Green was a surprising extra. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a peaceful night's sleep and a delicious breakfast. The spa facilities are welcoming as are the staff. Everyone was exceptionally cheerful and helpful. My partner and I enjoyed a wonderful week there.
