There was a very noisy group of 44 people who spent 2 days and 1 night. They had a reception in the evening at the pool bar which was very loud and disruptive as I couldn’t use my balcony. But overall I had a very good holiday

It night be time to be less brand loyalty perhaps?

We're fairly frequent users of the Barcelo brand of hotels. This is our 3rd this year. They offer a loyalty programme which we use. Various discounts are offered at various times of the year. We have availed of these discounts on occasion as they can make the difference as to affordability. However, that's where the loyalty aspect of it seems to end. We ( narrowly) missed out of their top tier loyalty level ( level 4) despite having spent emough. Apparently we need an extra stay. So, despite reaching their spend level, we didn't qualify.That aside, you'd have thought your loyalty would be addressed locally at the hotel and recognised in some manner. We'd chosen a superior room on this occasion. When we arrived we noticed very quickly that the hotel wasn't at full occupancy... in fact id say less than 50%?Wouldn't it have been a nice gesture to offer us a better room? What would it have cost the hotel? Nothing i would suggest.I responded to an email they sent asking on how things were with our stay and if there was anything I would suggest to improve our time here. That was 6 days ago and, other than an auto response, I've heard nothing back.The hotel itself is nice. Like other have said, it has spectacular views to the front.Food wasn't great and (as others have mentioned) it was very much hunt the glass/ spoon/ orange juice .Food also barely warm on occasions. Drinks offer not as good as previously experienced either. A bit galling considering ALL INCLUSIVE should be just that. Teguise Beach and Santigo in tenerife offered everything. Its embarrassing when you order something to then be told its chargeable.Staff were great it has to be said.All in all im disappointed. It appears loyalty accounts for very little these days.

The only thing going for it was the location. Fairly easy walk into Mahon and regular bus service if you are not up to it. The hotel itself was like staying in a library without the books,no atmosphere. A lack of evening entertainment or daily events. It's not much of a holiday hotel seems more set up for business meetings. If you are all inclusive working out what bar you could drink at at what time was a nightmare. Sadly the best bar the roof top bar closed at 8.00pm. The food in the Main restaurant was very repetitive and luke warm at best, my wife had an upset stomach one evening. The bed was very comfortable but the bedroom layout itself was terrible, only glass walls and doors separating the bathroom from the bedroom and a sink in the middle of the bedroom...very strange and little privacy. The staff were great but some struggled with English. Overall loved the location but certainly wouldn't stay here again .

Very nice hotel. superb views over harbour. Mostly very good although not having enough cups and glasses at breakfast was a bit of a drag and something that really shouldn't happen. Also having 6 sky tubs/jacuzzi/hotubs (whatever you want to call them is lovely but only having 2 working (and the hotel aware that only 2 were working) is poor. Overall a lovely hotel with lovely friendly staff let down slightly by a few minor niggles

Stayed here for ten night,really only a four to five day long weekend hotel as there isn’t much around when the season is coming to a close,same music every day at the sky bar,beer prices are very high 6 euros for a bottle in the sky bar,1 euro from the local supermarket,no balcony on the side sea view rooms,look good from afar but far from good
