Our spa facilities do have a minimum age of 16, and we regret that this was not upheld on the day of your experience.   Brilliant hotel with even better staff

  Stayed at the Barceló Nura for my first family holiday with a 4 month old. The place is impressive, clean, great service and staffed with brilliant staff. Fernanda the bar manager was one of the loveliest people I have ever met. Looked after us, always supported with our baby and make each night wonderful. She is a real gem. The food is good, nothing spectacular. Overall, a great stay and would come back again !   The perfect place for a relaxing break from a troubling world

  This was our second time visiting the Nura. My wife and I first visited in May with our daughter and my parents and we were so impressed with the service of the hotel, quality of the food and the friendly and relaxed atmosphere that we decided very soon after getting home that we wished to return for the honeymoon we never had.The hotel is very open and spacious, such that even when busy it never feels crowded. Multiple, excellent, salt-water pools mean that there is always somewhere for a quiet swim. The food is always wonderful, with many vibrant, fresh dishes on offer for every meal. The buildings are maintained to an extremely high standard, even at the end of a long season nothing looked tired, damaged or unclean. The Nura's greatest strength however is its team of amazing, friendly and extremely hard-working staff. Everyone we spoke to, or interacted with, seemed genuinely pleased to help to us and always had a smile and a few kind words. They responded positively to my, frankly atrocious, Spanish, encouraging me to keep trying and providing gentle, helpful, correction and instruction. As someone who can be quite socially awkward I found my confidence improve over the course of a week and it has bolstered by desire to further improve - even though every staff member speaks impeccable English themselves (along with many other languages it appears, I certainly overheard conversations in French, German and Italian at least). Menorca is a beautiful island, one of my favourite places in the world, and the Nura is the absolute best place to stay as a base to explore everything it has to offer.
