  Just back from a week in Binibeca. Initially a little disappointed as we usually stay in one of the little apartments by the pool. This time we were taken to a huge apartment just behind the supermarket. Private garden area and easy parking. As usual the place was spotlessly clean despite the somewhat dated decor although that is part of its charm. Efficient modern hob, combi microwave/grill. Big fridge and freezer. Air con in the living area and bedroom with very comfy bed. Lots of storage. Double sink in bathroom and good water pressure super hot shower. Plenty of cutlery and crockery (take your own mugs if you like a big cuppa) and welcome pack with washing up liquid and sponge, clothes and bin bag. Nice and quiet and as you are slightly below street level you can watch the world go by. Would really like the next door apartment (No 2) which has a top floor with great sea view but any of the four on the site would be fine. Reception staff and chambermaids helpful and friendly. Only real downside is the steps down to the garden and entrance might be a problem if you had mobility issues. Can’t wait to go back

  Lovely place. Our apartment was ready early which was a great bonus! The apartment was great, basic but with a nice balcony. The beds were comfortable and staff at reception were very nice. Very close proximity to restaurants which was perfect. Can't find a fault :)

  The Hlg apartments is overall a nice place to stays we had a family 2 week holiday and everyone had a lovely time.. Highlights. Helpful reception staff, our cleaning lady visited our apartment every 3rd morning to provide clean bed lined towels and cleaned the apartment, she was friendly and chatty.:) Accommodation. The apartments are divided into two sections, seafront and pool sides.. We stayed in a large 2 bedroom apartment.. at night the apartments became very hot , the apartment is I n a corner of the row and there was as no sea breeze to cool us down.. we did have two fans though that helped. The apartments is basic, but we had everything we needed… some things we could have used …a chopping board ,a small knife for food prep and a toaster would have been nice.. The Pool. The children really enjoyed the pool, it gave them a safe space to practice and strengthen their swimming .. The pool Itself could do with a little TLC.. there are lots of Missing and loose tiles,, on the positive… the kids spent lots of time Diving and retrieving the tiles, it kept them entertained.. I The location. It’s a very quiet resort, nice shops , restaurants a decent little Supermarket… it’s not cheap though. We swam and snorkelled every day.. the swimming coves are stunning and the warm Mediterranean Sea is such a treat with lots of sea...MoreDate of stay: August 2022

  We enjoyed a short break to Menorca choosing a small apartment on the complex for a four night stay. The accommodation was dated, rustic but spotlessly clean and functional. Our apartment was situated in a large quadrangle around a pool and ponds. It was literally a 30 second walk to numerous bars and restaurants but yet the complex maintained a peaceful atmosphere for residents. We experienced very high temperatures whilst we were there and sadly the lack of any air conditioning was a real shame. I found it very difficult to cool the apartment down at night and the supplied oscillating fan simply moved the hot air around, getting to sleep was a real issue as it was just so hot and humid inside the apartment. For that reason I wouldn’t entertain staying again in the warmer months, the apartments need to be modernised in my opinion

  Had a fantastic week here, loved it!

  I was very pleasantly surprised with the accommodation, it was clean and great location and in the weeks stay we had towel and bedding change done 3 times which was very much appreciated. The location was a little noisy until about midnight, probably wouldn't be an issue for most people but with a young child we were in bed by 9ish most nights, luckily my little one slept brilliantly and after the first night I just used my headphones as ear plugs and had a great night's sleep every night. On the subject of noise....the walls are very thin and noise does travel. We did have a very noisy neighbour on the 1st day, who were a little noisy during their affectionate times, slightly awkward and just something to be aware of if you're going as a couple!The pool area was great, perfect for a little one as it is very shallow and we had the area completely to ourselves every day, also free WiFi in this area for guests. The beds were much bigger than the standard single you usually get, I'd say 3/4 size and comfortable. Yes the rooms were a little dated, but for the price for better than I was expecting. Completely functional and clean. There was a ceiling fan and little electrical heater supplied which really heated the space up. Even in 43+ degrees the room was pleasantly cool. Good sized fridge, only hot plates and microwave though for cooking but lovely local restaurants literally a 30 second walk away. Lovely pleasant staff, really friendly and helpful Felt very safe and welcome in this beautiful corner of menorca
