Very disappointing due to rude staff and poor service

Rooms lovely but I found the staff to be quite rude. A festival was on in Mahon when we visited so there was pretty much nowhere to get any food. As my friend was feeling unwell and couldn’t leave our room, we decided to get room service, but after speaking with many staff, it was concluded that it was not available. After I returned to our room I heard the staff laughing and talking about us which was as incredibly disappointing. They were not helpful whatsoever and we, quite frankly, couldn’t wait to leave. Overall, very disappointed given the amount of money you pay for this hotel.

We spent a very enjoyable week staying at the Mirador des Port. The hotel was spotless and very comfortable. Our room was large and cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided. The choice at breakfast was huge, the freshly squeezed orange juice being a particular favourite. The view across Mahon port while eating is also fantastic. The pool and outside area was large enough however, I do wonder whether there would be greater demand on the number of loungers available during peak periods? We regularly used the outside bar (in a converted camper van), but were disappointed when this was closed halfway through our visit. This seemed odd, as there were still many guests using this area? The hotel does have an underground car park, which was convenient and very useful for our hire car. It was quite costly though, with parking for 3 days costing circa £60.00. The hotel's location is perfect, only taking 10 minutes to get to the centre if Mahon and its many bars and restaurants. Although you will find more competitively priced accommodation, the Mirador is certainly worth pushing your budget for, and if we return to Menorca again, will definitely look to book this hotel.

Stayed here for a week, the room was comfortable and clean the staff were very friendly and accomodating. The restuarant was very nice but a little pricey, the pool and gym were also very nice.

Lovely hotel, situated in the port. Extremely clean and modern. We had the triple premium room with sea view which was amazing - from size to cleanliness. Excellent choice for breakfast, a whole range of options. Had evening drinks in the bar which has the most amazing views. Pool was lovely, plently of loungers. Gym basic but usable. Highly recommend. We will return.
