  Lovely stay but food lacking

  We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were a good size and very clean. Well maintained for the most part, the odd bit here and there but nothing that was a big deal, just small aesthetic things which I would assume are addressed in the off season anyway.Staff were really friendly and helpful. There were always people around cleaning up the communal areas and there seemed to be plenty of housekeeping staff too.We liked the layout with it feeling more like a holiday village rather than a huge hotel complex. There is a shop on site, it had most things you'd need and prices were pretty similar to those in the surrounding areas.We only utilised the splash pool but it kept my son entertained for the duration of our stay. It was well maintained and idea for younger kids. There were plenty of loungers available too.The evening entertainment wasn't the best and we could hear it loudly from our accommodation as we were right next to it but it finished by 11 so wasn't an issue to be honest.Location wise, the immediate surrounding area doesn't really have much to offer than the same sort of shops and some restaurants. We did find Jimmy Hill's though which was great with a little softplay and entertainment in the evening. The prices were reasonable. We ate there twice and the food was lovely.Beach wise, there are a few small coves but they weren't accessible with a pushchair. Slightly disappointed we couldn't access them easily but we did travel across to Cala'n Blanes which was about a 20 minute walk. A beautiful little cove with crystal clear water.The only real reason we wouldn't rate the hotel any higher is the food and all inclusive. What we ate was very nice but for the most part it was the same food options for lunch and dinner. Lost count of the number of times there was spaghetti bolognese on offer but pretty sure it was at least 5 days from 7. There was a snack bar advertised but in fact this wasn't included in the all inclusive offer expected. The only 'snack' included was a tiptop ice lolly. Everything else was an additional cost. If you wanted something you had to order and pay extra for it even though the short menu was what they were serving for lunch/dinner anyway. We struggled with this as our son has additional needs and the main dining room was too much for him on most occasions. We were anticipating that we could utilise the snack bar so he could eat in the room or on the go especially as we couldn't cook his safe foods in the room as there was only a 1 ring induction stove. The weather was lovely and hot but there was no ice cream on offer outside of mealtimes unless you paid for it separately. On the whole, we really enjoyed our time but the food and all inclusive were a bit of a let down.

  Was the perfect holiday loved everything about it. Great choice of food,very clean and friendly and a quiet location. Just what we were looking for. Already thinking of going back again.I have only one slight complaint, and thats when you book the early breakfast for the morning transfer to the airport, there's really not much to pick from but besides that , it was a great holiday.   The rooms were great. Fridge, cooker, cutlery crockery, balcony and hair dryer included. Pools were great and well maintained. The grounds are fabulous and like a little village. The staff are so friendly. Entertainment was great. Food was fantastic even for fussy eaters. Never went hungry as breakfast lunch and dinner was on for hours at a time and buffet from 11-6 daily. Location was great and views were unreal! Beach was amazing. Plenty of shops restaurants and Jimmy Hills around the corner had tributes acts and a nightclub. We also had free access to the water park about 5 minute walk away. Small but kids enjoyed it for hours.
