  Great location, amazing staff but food not good and needs updating in many areas

  Location of the hotel is amazing. Directly on the beach and near the harbour. Lots of restaurants near by with a range of food. The bus stop is really close too. Sunset from the hotel room was great. Atmosphere in hotel was basic music was repetitive play lists and not much going on activities/entertainment wise. Rooms were lovely and clean and cleaning staff were very helpful and polite. Rooms could do with a little updating and air con updating. Also the channels on the tv were hit and miss whether they work. Pool area needs updating as the decking around pool was very loose and tiles very slippery. Another family stated that the children’s pool was even more dangerous and so slippery they did not want there children using that pool. The pool could have been cleaner too at times there was lots of dirt and tissues floating around.Food was a sore subject for us as a family. My daughter has autism and food was not great for her. We went all inclusive but ended up eating out and purchasing food from local shops due to the lack of choice. However, it always was fresh and catering staff were always topping up with more food etc. I just wish there were more of a choice for children or adults that like bland foods. I think it could have been better value for money. It cost us a lot to stay and then the added cost of eating out! It’s a shame. I do not think we would choose to stay here again but we would definitely go back to the area.

  First impression was wow, nice clean room on arrival, nice views, staff friendly. Then it hit us both when we went down for lunch.Food was either over cooked or cold. Are thought oh well the food can only get better, how wrong we where, ever Breakfast, lunch and evening dinner was the same, either cold or warm. Really would not recommend all inclusive only a place to stay, 3 star hotel with 0 star food. Last couple of night tried the food in the restaurant then walked out to get food elsewhere. And did say to the staff about the food only for them to walk away while talking to them.Yes I will be doing a afficial complaint as well.

  We stayed at this hotel for a week in September and had a very good holiday.Room which we had pre asked for was ready on arrival and clean with a lovely view of pool and sea.All the staff we're very polite and helpful with a special mention to Sebastian the bar man who was brilliant at his job and always smiling.The pool are was kept clean but they definitely need more sunbeds as we witnessed people every day walking around looking for some.The beach is beautiful and literally on your doorstep with crystal clear water.The only dissapointment for us was the food which was average at best and the all inclusive drinks which were a let down.Overall we had a great holiday though and spent most evenings at the marina which has loads of lovely restaurants and bars, especially Chaplins and Why Not bars.We would definitely come back.   Good hotel in fantastic location

  Hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the beach and really close to the marina with shops and restaurants. Hotel is cleaned to the highest of standards. Beds and towels changed daily if you ask. Rooms are a little tired and aircon a bit noisy but our view of the pool, beach and sea was great.I have to admit the food was very hit and miss. Often it was cold and very similar each day. However, at the price we paid we were able to eat out most nights. The only other negative was that to secure a sunbed near the pool you had to get up early. There was some form of entertainment each night from singing and dancers to acrobatics.What made the holiday was the staff. Reception were welcoming when we arrived and as mentioned the cleaning team were amazing. The bar staff were so friendly. We were mostly served by Carlos, Sol, Sebastian and the two Vanessa’s who all worked extremely hard but were always smiling. We joined in several of the activities during the day including darts, shuffleboard and pétanque (French Boule). The entertainment staff that made us feel so welcome were Basma, Camilla, Julio and Alberto. They made all the activities fun and were a credit to their company.All in all we had a great stay. The hotel is geared up for families but as four adults we were catered for very well.
