    Great hotel, little touches could Improve the experience

    We stayed as a family for a trip in Naples. I was a bit concerned that it was out of town and next to a shopping mall. However, I did not need to be concerned. The hotel was lovely and overall was a really great experience and we enjoyed our stay. We have 2x11-year-old children and the shopping mall was an absolute gift. It has a playground area outside as well, which was fantastic. We did not have breakfast here as it was too expensive. However, we were able to eat at the shopping mall.You do need a hire car to get to the main sights, but with a car, it is very convenient. We found Nola train station to be very handy for getting to Naples. Staff are very friendly .They offer parking that is secure outside for free or parking inside that’s €10. We chose the outside parking and it was secure and we were very happy with it. The reason we didn’t provide a 5 star rating was to do with cleanliness and fittings that didn’t work. First of all, there was no a/c and the room was very walk, so some climate control would have been helpful. There was a lot of dust around the mini bar fridge that had collected over time and the room was quite dusty. This aggravated my asthma, for two days where I was sneezing quite a lot and felt breathless. I didn’t raise it with the staff because their English wasn’t great and my Italian wasn’t great and so I don’t think I would’ve communicated it very well. The other issues included a slightly broken bunkbed, which impacted on my daughter when she climbed to the top bunk as she found it difficult due to the broken area on the bunk bed, making it difficult for the ladders to lock. Light fittings came out of their sockets next to the bed, which is a hazard from a health and safety point of view. The hand wash and the body body wash in the shower were not full when we arrived so we left it outside the room. It should have been checked prior to us taking the room. IHG hotels use Dove products, and we did not feel that dove products went back into the bottles as it was thin and appeared cheap and the smell wasn’t the same. I stay in a lot of IHG hotels and it was quite noticeable. Overall, our hotel stay was very very good and we would go back, but these small touches would’ve made the difference difference to a five star rating

    Another disappointing hotel in italy

    The hotel is fine but there is only one elevator that is operating when we arrived there. The room was biv enougb for a solo traveler like me. There is a big mall attached to the hotel. Breakfast was so so. I mean unlimited choices. For that big hotel and many guests, wow! What array if choices!!! Just scrambled eggs, sausage, fried mushroom, a few choices of cold cuts, around 3-5 choices of cakes and croissants. What a disappointment!!! And they even gave us time for breakfast as they told us that they have lots of group tourists like us. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

    New management elevated all aspects, clean, freshprofessional manager, front desk Francesco and GianLuca Provided service I expect at a concierge level hotel, car service booking and knew my name and schedule when I walked by front desk following day!

    Over charged 3500 euro for my stay

    this hotel over charged me by 3500euro charging my credit card without my permission for someone else's room.i raised this to them and it took them nearly 2wks to first come back to me.after this they advised me on 25th sept i would in the coming days receive a refund i chased them again 1st oct - still have not received my money , they then tell me its going to take 2 weeks.i have chased them again today 3 wks later i still dont have my money and they say the bank is dealing with it.i checked out from this stay almost 2 months ago but i still dont have the 3.5k eur they took from me back.DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL - unless you want to risk being charged for rooms you did not stay in and then if you are over charged you will wait months for your refund of the money they took from you.

    Stylish Stay Inside a Unique Shopping Center

    Our recent family holiday at this hotel was a truly enjoyable experience.The hotel is modern, beautifully decorated and located inside the impressive Vulcano Buono shopping centre, a true architectural masterpiece with a variety of shops, restaurants and entertainment areas. Although it is a little out of the way from the centre of Naples and the popular tourist spots, the location in the shopping centre means that everything from food to shopping is just a few steps away.The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and has a good selection, but there is one caveat, some items run out quite quickly and are not always replenished promptly. So for those who want to enjoy the full selection, we recommend arriving early.A special thanks to Gianluca at reception. His genuine attitude and kindness really made our stay special.We would happily return here again and would definitely recommend this hotel to families looking for a comfortable, stylish and relaxing holiday near Naples.
