    Stayed here several times. Just back again from another relaxing week in this hotel. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Rooms are quite dated but are always clean , pool area and the pool are fantastic. Always plenty of sunbeds available. Hire a car as the hotel is quite isolated. Everywhere on the island is only a short drive away. Hopefully the new owners will invest some money and modernise the rooms. Only problem this time was a very rude bar person called Megan who really needs some front f house customer training.

    Just come back from the Vista Blanes had a lovely week there. The apartments are clean and had everything we needed. We had a room by pool on bottom floor. Pool area was fine always a sun bed there anytime of day. The apartments are about a 20 min walk from plenty of restaurants and Jimmy Hills with brilliant tribute acts every night. Megan and Joan (glasses) jn the restaurant were very friendly and helpful . Would return there .

    All positive for me at the Vista Blanes! Had an issue with my visa card and the guys (Joan and Amla) were amazing and very helpful throughout resolving it all. Rooms: Perfect for a family of 6 as we had the larger room if I had one issue its there is no AC but sufficient fans.Pool Area: Wow! Miguel the lifeguard is there to keep order with the food at the bar/restaurant being top drawer. All in all an amazing stay and I would like to make a special mention to Megan, Toni, Sofia, Joan (Glasses), Joan. You were all amazing and made us feel so welcome! Thanks for making it a great holiday for myself and the family! Hopefully see you soon, Declan and all the family!

    Wonderful hotel in a lovely peaceful location. The hotel is immaculate and every member of the staff were so friendly and helpful. I emailed ahead of our stay with a room request and they fulfilled my every ask. Couldn’t have been more perfect. We self catered and found the facilities and equipment perfectly adequate.Lovely hot powerful shower in a bath which is an added bonus.I’m guessing the two star is because there is no lift or air con but we didn’t miss either of these and in our opinion this hotel is worth more stars. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. We stayed 8th - 18th July for ten wonderful nights at this gem of a hotel.

    Lovely apartments with friendly staff!

    We’ve stayed in a lot of the hotels/apartments in the area but our first try at Vista Blanes, and we’ll definitely be back!Although there are a lot of rooms, the pool area is relatively quiet with plenty of space and sun-beds/shade available throughout the day….even during school holidays! The pool is very accessible with graduated slopes and steps, and would be great for anyone who struggles with getting in/out, or is less confident in a deep pool. The sun-beds however, they are like torture devices, and many people had bought a lilo to use as a cushion. Personally would prefer these were updated over the pine furniture.Check-in was quick, but could have been a little more informative about the hotel services/location/local amenities etc available….however Megan in the restaurant was very helpful and quickly got us up to speed. Top tip: As you stand facing the restaurant, to the right, there is a cut that’s open until 9pm which takes you down to the beach in a couple of minutes! The bar/restaurant, we thought was brilliant and couldn’t believe it wasn’t full all day. Everything you could want from snacks, evening meals, cocktails and ice creams and all very reasonably priced, served by a really friendly team. The food is of restaurant quality and homemade; a huge asset to the hotel and huge contributing factor to us returning.We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was great for our needs. It’s not a 5 star hotel, so the 80s tiles in the bathroom are probably unlikely to be the choice of an instagram influencer, but the room is clean, spacious and has some basic facilities such as fridge, hob, kettle, toaster and an iron (which we were quite impressed to see). Cleaning service attended regularly, although I couldn’t establish a pattern, it was plentiful and they were very pleasant. We would have liked a chopping board and a couple of wine glasses if we’re being picky! There is no air con and the sun shines a lot in menorca, if that’s going to bother you it’s probably simply not for you. We were fine with the fans provided but it’ll come down to personal preference.You’re about 20/25 minute walk to the main resort centre which we enjoyed, however there are a number of closer options in Cala Blanes, as well as restaurants and bars on the beach if you’d prefer to stay closer (we had a couple of lovely meals at Sa Cova), and a short 3 minute stroll to the bus stop takes you right into Ciutadella. You’re also on the coast road if you fancied stretching your legs, lovely views and a nice walk if you’re able.Thank you to Megan, Joan, Joan, Sofia and Toni for such an enjoyable stay!
