Location

This apartment complex is located in Mahón, the capital of the Balearic island of Menorca. The well-known harbour, one of the loveliest and largest natural harbours in the Mediterranean, is around 500 m away. Various shopping and entertainment facilities are to be found near the complex.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 34 apartments located in two 2-storey buildings. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including cycling/mountain biking, a gym, billiards, a spa and a solarium.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. The restaurant has air conditioning and high chairs for children. The apartment hotel offers a wide range of catering options.     Spacious, clean apartment with a garden view and a nice terrace. Good location, but not much around unless you walk to the town or the marina.Lovely pool area with lots of sun beds. The breakfast is good value. The staff are lovely.However, there were dirty dishes in the cupboard when we arrived!! Plates, cups, and glasses were filthy and we had to wash them. There was oil and butter on the plates.The bathroom was very dated. I understand they get black mould when not in use over winter, but the cleaning of the mould was very, very poor. We could see where the mould was wiped off but some of it was still there. Black mould is still on the ceiling, around the bath/shower area, and on the walls. The coiled hairdryer lead was full of black mould on the inside - would not touch it.The beds were so hard and my back ached the next day. No AC in the bedroom, which the mosquitoes loved.But otherwise, these apartments are really lovely and I would recommend them.There is a full bar, but it was not open and when we asked to buy a drink, we were told no.

    Fantastic place to stay, everything there you need, very home from home, comfortable and clean, really surprising, pool was great and you can get extra towels, air con worked great when hot, Beds comfortable, room was cleaned daily. Fridge very useful as you can cook in on stove or microwave. Handy if fancy night in on the balcony, nice in the evening. Very Close to everything in mahon get a map from reception as everything is close. We got the L 10 from airport to mahon Town bus station, then a short walk to the place. We also got the L92 bus from bus station to punta beach was €3.00 for both of us, this was great for swimming and some nice places to eat. You can get anywhere from the bus station, so didn't bother renting car. Was glad we stayed in mahon as so much to do, they had late night markets and there is a train that goes round the harbour if you find it too much to walk too, also gives you an idea of where everything is. Lots of coffee and cake on offer, or drinks if your a drinker. Boat trips are great, we did the one round the harbour only €15 euros...for the 1hr, but you can go around the island get dropped off for a swim and picked up on the water taxis.

    As the weather in the UK had been so diabolical, we decided to book a last minute getaway. We thought it would be best to stay in Mahon rather than the beach resorts as it was out of season. We made a good decision booking Royal Life. Perfectly situated for both the centre of Mahon and the marina, we were able to walk to both within minutes. The apartment was large and basically equipped but suited our needs perfectly. A big shout out for the staff, especially the young lady on the reception desk who was really friendly and helpful. Mahon is a beautiful city and we loved it.

    Stayed for a night before flying home to (a) enjoy Mahon and (b) be near the airport. The apartment was perfect for both- in the East of the city but excellent location for walking in to the centre, and a big Eroski supermarket the other way. The building itself has a '70s vibe - it's not cutting edge cool but clean and rather endearing for that 'retro' feel. No lift, good Aircon and good wifi. TV had bbc 1,2,4, parliament channel (a first for me) ITV1, C4,5 and CBBC . The rear is also spacious, quiet and residential in a good way. For the price in Mahon it was an absolute bargain

    Lovely apartment complex, staff were so friendly and helpful. Pool very quiet. Lovely garden outside our apartments terrace.Situated short walk to harbour and city centre, 2 minutes from bakery and supermarket. Lots of free parking in surrounding streets.
