  There aren’t many places when you go on a sunshine holiday where you can still have fun if the sun doesn’t shine. We took our two children (3and1) and had a wonderful holiday. The hotel is setup for giving children an amazing experience and allowing parents to relax. A highlight for us was getting a freshly made coffee at breakfast alongside the option to grab one from a machine.All the staff were amazing. Our son loved getting his high fives going into the restaurants. There was a full timetable of activities in Kikoland. Both the kids loved the bouncy castle. The shows in the evening allowed the kids to dance off their last energy for the day, while we got to sit back and relax.Would recommend.   “Une bonne adresse”: an excellent family resort

  There is nothing to complain about at this family club. It’s 2.5 hours from London by plane, followed by a 20-minute transfer, and the transfer company recommended by the resort provides proper child seats, so there’s nothing to worry about on the safety front.The resort has direct access to a sandy beach in a beautiful setting, and the sea was still warm enough to swim in at the beginning of October. There is also a pool and a splash zone. The water feels a bit cold getting in, but it’s very comfortable once you’re in, even late in the afternoon with a bit of sun.The rooms are large and very child-friendly: furniture without sharp edges, bed rails if you need one or two, and a child-height sink in the bathroom. There is also a doctor on site 24 hours a day. We didn’t need them, but it’s very reassuring.For the children, there’s a large football pitch, a big playground and child-friendly activities throughout the day, including pony riding once a week. Every evening there’s a kids’ show and an adults’ show, both entertaining. The kids’ club staff are competent and caring.The food is buffet-style and more than OK, and one of the restaurants even offers a nanny service. The staff are very friendly and multilingual (German, Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese…). We went in October, so it wasn’t crowded. Everything is on the doorstep, including a supermarket and some good Spanish restaurants.There are a few steps to get to some rooms, but there are ramps across the resort and several rooms are step-free.In conclusion: a very good family resort, and we’d happily go back. Son Bou beach can be reached very conveniently through our direct access tunnel, and having shops and restaurants nearby makes family holidays even easier.For younger children, we also offer Magikland, located opposite Los Olivos Restaurant and open during lunch and dinner service for children from 0 to 4 years old, providing families with another useful option during mealtimes.Thank you as well for highlighting the accessibility features around the resort.   We had a fantastic time at Royal Son Bou. Located a minutes walk from the beach, local shops. The food was excellent & all the staff were fantastic. Especially Fernando in the restaurant! Our Villa was clean & comfortable. Great pool area & activities. Kiko land was a good place to visit with the little ones. They also offer evening entertainment which was good for all the family. We also got a taxi to Mahon from the hotel. We would highly recommend and we will be back!   Wow wow wow!! We’re staying here now go home tomorrow & not got one thing to complain about! Staff are absolutely amazing from the minute you walk in to reception, all around the hotel , kids club , bars , restaurants they all couldn’t do enough to help you, always smiling and saying hello.. Very friendly hotel. Food brilliant we’ve only ate out once which is unsual for us! We normally always do tea out!! There is something for everyone. Entertainment is amazing, our favourite was the Disney show 10/10!! But every night the staff really do put on a good performance. Lots of photo opportunities with the mascots through out the day, my little boy has none stopped smiling & laughing all holiday. I would definitely come again & I’ll recommend it to friends back home. Kids club has activities on all day aswell as the soft play, football & park. We never left him but you can join in all the activities as a family. Thanks so much for an amazing week!
