Location

This hotel is located in the centre of Cala'n Porter, on the south coast of Menorca. Cala'n Porter is one of the most important tourist centres on Menorca and guests will find bars, restaurants, public transport links and shops all in the immediate vicinity. Just around 100 m away is the beach and it is some 500 m to the closest nightspots and Cova den Xoroi. The Calas Covas are about 1 km away, Torralba is about 5 km and Mahon around 13 km.

Facility

The holiday village has 7 single rooms and 20 double rooms located in two 2-storey buildings. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Some rooms include a balcony. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. Sport

Guests can go for a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool complex. There is a children's swimming area as well. A waterslide guarantees plenty of fun for young and old, and the pool bar provides sustenance and refreshing drinks. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and horse riding are available. With canoeing, catamaraning, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. For a fee, the holiday village offers a gym. The wellness offerings at the complex include a spa and a solarium. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, live music, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a pub. A number of specialities await guests in an air-conditioned restaurant with a separate area for smokers. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A continental breakfast gives guests many delicious reasons to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte or choose a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The complex also offers special catering options. For guests, non-alcoholic beverages are included.

    Perfect for what we wanted, very clean, good location, friendly and helpful staff, amazing huge comfy bed - thank you, nice pool, and not busy with plenty of sun loungers.

    Food not great, husband asked if meal (veal) came with chips, told yes, shocked to get three chunky chips, my curry and rice arrived with loads of French fries. Service poor, would not recommend this place for an evening meal. Entertainment some evenings

    Haven't been for 4yrs , nice to see some of the same staff , so friendly & welcoming . Husband & I shared a pizza at the restaurant as it was lunch time & we weren't that hungry , nice & tasty cooked quickly , all prices reasonable. The only downside is the lack of sunbeds not sure how many rooms Sa Paissa has but there's only 6 sunbeds at the pool area this won't be good as the season gets busier. Lots of people do use it as a base to go to the beach or use the sister hotel Siesta Mar facilities but if you want to avoid children they need to take some more sunbeds down. The entertainment is usually quite good too.

    You can definitely tell that it's a low quality restaurant. The paella was great but the rest of the food was so-so. Some of the waiters were really nice and welcoming and others really just wanted their shift to be over.

    I visited here this morning for some breakfast with my friends and family.on arrival before We had a chance to look at the menu we was asked what I would like and then explained I was a vegetarian what could I order when the food come only half that orders came out! then when I started to eat my poached egg on toast was like something that been fed to the ducks soaking wet sloppy and slimy. I then asked for some fresh toast as the toast I had was in edible I had to wait five minutes for that and then by then my eggs where cold .two other orders we placed where made wrong! When I spoke to one of the members staff they seem very uninterested and started talking in Spanish and walked off when I got the bill they charge me full price for my poached egg on toast even though I didn’t have the other bits like bacon tomato’s and potato’s there so be aware when you order something if you’re vegetarian and you don’t want the bacon and things like that with it you will be charged the full price even though they’ve messed up all our orders they didn’t seem bothered at all! I asked to speak to a manager and I was told no! I have been coming hear for many years now and had never been hear and now I wish I hadn’t, rude staff un help-fall and poor food Quality would not recommend to anyone.
