  Room was clean and tidy but no draws to put anything in which wasn't a good start. Also alot of stairs to get to 3rd floor as no lifts. Wish we had got ground floor room. The cleaner came I everyday which was good. Shower dreadful either hot or freezing cold just wouldn't adjust. Other bad points the English breakfasts were cold everyday but food in evening was fine. Also it was token for drinks in poly carbonated cups whether outside or in all day and night. Thought we would have glasses in the evening at least. We would not go back there and didn't like the area.

  Overall lovely holiday but the food isn’t the greatest

  I visited from 1st October to 11th October, overall we had a lovely family holiday at Sol Falco. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff are all super friendly to everyone. There is so much choice in pools and they’re kept clean and tidy. Rooms are nice and kept clean. The food wasn’t the greatest there was a few meals we decided to eat out as we were fed up with the hotel food.It is a beautiful location with a lovely beach just a short walk although the time of year we went a lot of the excursions were closed which was disappointing. The value for money was okay, you could stay in the hotel most of the time and there was entertainment throughout the day including the kids club which my son really enjoyed. The rooms are separate from the bar/entertainment/restaurant area which I liked as this meant it was nice and quiet when you’re in your room and there wasn’t much noice from other guests. Overall a lovely family holiday, I would recommend this hotel but just a heads up, the food isn’t the best.   Well kept, well run resort. Great location

  First time visiting Menorca. Actually, 1st holiday away without the kids (they are away at uni). And we have 4 more night here after airing last Wednesday.This resort is clean, well run, peaceful. The gardens are amazing with all the flowers, and trees of pomegranates everywhere.The chefs who cook fresh deserve a special mention - there is always fresh fish of meat in the griddle. The staff on the restaurant are run off their feet keeping everything clean and tables turned round. There is such a huge selection of food, I think everyone would be happy. Ignore the other reviews.The pools are quiet - we're normally used to visiting during peak summer, so are pleasantly surprised. The lifeguards keep an eye on things without spoiling fun.The beach is a 5 min walk away, and is calm so perfect for little ones - although 2 days ago after storms, the high tide was rougher.The bus to Cuitadella is about 30 mins away, and a great visit. Màhon is another hour away, and also worth the day trip (leaving early in the morning)The buses are very busy, so can't imagine what's it's like peak summer.The light house is a 15 mins walk away, with spectacular views.The marina has all sorts of restaurants and bars (quite relaxed) so that is a must.Overall, I'd recommend Sol Falco, based on our experience, and the location.I've added various pics from Sol Falco, Màhon and Cuitedella, as well as the sunset boat cruise (peak season only), the marina, the beach and the Cap Artrutx lighthouse.   Holiday experience was amazing

  Beautiful surroundings. Amazing food. Entertainment staff are first rate. They take the time to learn your name. Also I did karaoke while there and was really nervous. The staff encouraged me and tried to make me feel less nervous. I would recommend the hotel and the staff to anyone.   Great Family Holiday

  Currently sat on the balcony writing this review. Drinks decent, service great. Rooms adequate and comfortable, beds a little hard for us. The sofa bed is perfect for a little one as it is low to the floor and has the arms as guards. Agree that toys could be tidied up and the pool area could be reset better. That said, the 'Kidsdom' team are great. Lots of enthusiasm with kids and adults alike. Food did rotate day to day but lunch/dinner could be repetitive, snack bar kept topped up and the sweets and ice cream from the bar a hit. Would we return, absolutely. Great location, short flight. An ideal family getaway, especially if like us, it's your 1st time flying with a toddler.
