A lovely stay and what a location!

    rating14 Sept 2026

I've given 5 stars not because the hotel is perfect. It isn't.. but I think a lot of negative reviews have given this hotel a distorted perception. The bottom line is that it's well-priced and expectations need to be adjusted. We travelled with Jet2 who provided a seamless holiday experience. The hotel has a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, it's clean, beds are comfortable, food is not too bad, the pool has an inclusive, friendly vibe and the pool slides meant our two girls had to be prised away to go anywhere! And all the above is before you get to the beautiful bay/beach, which is about a ten minute walk down a wooden walkway, from just beside the hotel's pool area. It weaves around a stretch of national parkland amongst fragrant pine trees and delivers a lovely vista of the sea. You can take out pedalos on the beach (about 18 Euros for an hour from a bad memory) and there's a bit of an expensive bar/cafe nearby which didn't seem too popular. The sea (our visit was in early September) was shallow for a very long way out, which was perfect for our young children. A lovely lasting memory was going down to the beach early evening on our last day. I've never experienced such a warm sea. It was a great stay overall, aided by really helpful and friendly reception staff and a bus stop right by reception, which facilitated (at around a 30 minute or less drive) a visit to Mahon (well worth it but bear in mind it's a bit hilly). Es Mercadal (with its weekly? market) is another route from the hotel. You can change at Mahon (Mao) to get to other great places like Ciutadella etc. Food is not too bad (buffet style is always pretty hit and miss) and I always found something tasty to eat. Arriving a bit early is advised as the restaurant gets busy. Entertainment (including an afternoon fun session poolside) is mostly in French because there's quite a strong presence from a French holiday company, but they were fairly inclusive and added a lot of fun. The kids mini disco each evening was a highlight for the girls and in all different languages (heh you're abroad!) I'd recommend when the hotel has enough resource to look at the interesting sliding door panels leading onto the terrace. They're some way from soundproof but saying that we all slept well, intermittently serenaded but a cicada or two!We had a great stay - Muchos gracias Sol Parc

    Ghost town

    rating21 Aug 2026

The room we were allocated was very good indeed , roomy and clean. The complex itself was very pretty with it being set in the forrest ( pine needles in the pool were a little annoying ) . Short walk to a beautiful beach , As for the dining arrangements , that was an absolute joke , was told that we couldn't eat at any of the restraunts within the complex . The Manager told me to go find a restraunt around the corner which was like a ghost town with lots of boarded up eating establishments with Su Vende signs on them , or we could walk to the sister hotel to eat at they're buffet ( they were very accomodating Thank God ). We got a taxi ride to Arenal du castell , once again many Su vende signs and a smattering of eating establishments . Shopping ? only Supermecados not much else . I would strongly suggest only come to this area if you are hiring a car as there is not much here . I do blame myself as much as anybody else but could it really be that quiet ? Sol parc sent me an email during my stay saying " what can we do to help us improve ?" My only answer to that is Pick the Hotel up and put it somewhere where there is life. Oh , one more thing The Taxi service sucks !

    Beautiful holidays

    rating19 Jul 2025

The hotel is surrounded by a forest. We had a room far from animation areas. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed. The staff in the hotel was amazing and really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and delicious. There is a beautiful beach which is not far. The sunbeds and the umbrella cost 20€.

    Pleasant relaxing stay

    rating16 Sept 2024

Firstly I'd like to point out to prospective guests that this is essentially a holiday camp rather than a hotel. It comprises a number of accomodation blocks scattered around a pine forest. The terrain might be a challenge to anyone with moderate mobility issues.Secondly it is essentially aimed at the French market with all french animation staff and much of the entertainment in French. As a French speaker I was fine with this but my wife felt a bit left out.Now that's out of the way we had a fabulous time here. We had an apartment with all inclusive. The food in the buffet restaurant was some of the best I've tasted and I guess it would need to be with a mainly French clientele. The desserts probably let it down a bit though. The selection of drinks for all inclusive is a bit restricted but no complaints from me as the red wine was very passable. The walk to the beach is fabulous and the beach incredible.Young children are well catered for with loads of playground equipment and pleasant pool areas. Teenagers might find it a bit boring. All in all a very pleasant few days.
